A tried and true guacamole recipe that&#039;s easy to make, uses fresh ingredients and is loaded with flavor. It&#039;s the best guacamole dip hands down. Watch the video above to see how quickly it comes together!

Best Ever Guacamole (Fresh, Easy & Authentic)

avocados (ripe)

onion (finely diced)

Roma tomatoes (diced)

cilantro

jalapeno pepper (seeds removed and finely diced)

garlic

lime (juiced)

sea salt

Slice

Slice the avocados in half, remove the pit, and scoop into a mixing bowl. 

Mash

Mash the avocado with a fork and make it as chunky or smooth as you'd like.

Add the remaining ingredients and stir together. Give it a taste test and add a pinch more salt or lime juice if needed.

Serve

This is the best guacamole recipe as it’s is simple to make and uses fresh, high quality ingredients. Authentic Mexican guacamole doesn’t contain fillers and unnecessary ingredients. All you need is avocados, onion, tomatoes, cilantro, jalapeno pepper, lime juice, garlic and salt.

BEST EVER GUACAMOLE | easy, fresh, homemade guacamole recipe

This easy guacamole recipe comes together so quickly, you can make a fresh batch whenever you want to! If you think you don&#x27;t like avocados, try them in this delicious dip!

Easy Guacamole 

avocados

jalapeno,

shallot,

garlic,

tsps chopped fresh cilantro

roma tomato, seeded and diced

tsp coarse sea salt

lime juice

Cut avocados in half, remove pit, and spoon...

Cut avocados in half, remove pit, and spoon avocado into a mixing bowl. Smash avocado until it reaches your desired consistency, a little chunky is best.  Add in remaining ingredients and gently stir to combine.

Taste and adjust salt as needed.

Crispy baked potato chips topped with flavorsome beef, creamy guac, chunky pico de gallo and fresh greens. It tastes like a treat dish but is actually healthy and lower in calories. Delicious as a meal but also perfect for a movie night snack.

Healthy Beef Nachos

avocado,

juiced

cilantro/coriander, chopped -

salt -

onion (optional) -

roma tomatoes, chopped (400 grams) -

onion,

jalapeño,

potatoes (approx 400 grams) - for the potatoes and beef

olive oil

lean beef mince

tomato paste - for the potatoes and beef

tsp cumin powder - for the potatoes and beef

paprika powder - for the potatoes and beef

ginger powder - for the potatoes and beef

tsp chipotle powder - for the potatoes and beef

salt

arugula spinach

Cholula / chilli sauce (optional)

Wash and slice the potatoes into thin slices, transfer them into a bowl. Drizzle or spray on oil, season with salt and toss to coat. Bake in the oven for 12 minutes or until slightly brown, then flip around and bake for another 8-10 mins until crispy.

While your potatoes bake, in a pan, add oil and cook the ground beef with ginger, paprika, chipotle powder, salt on medium heat for a few minutes until beef is cooked through.

Add the tomato paste and cook until the sauce is mixed well. Remove from heat and set aside.

Prep

In a bowl, mash avocados with a fork until slightly chunky

Chop up cilantro, onions and dice up jalapeño into small pieces and add to bowl of chunky avocado.

Without over-mashing the avocado, gently mix together until mixed together well. Add salt and pepper to taste and set aside.

Make the guacamole

In another bowl, toss together your diced tomatoes, onions, cilantro and jalapeño.

Add lime juice and salt, then mix well and set aside.

Make the pico de gallo

Assemble all the ingredients onto a large plate, starting with the potatoes as a base layer then adding beef on top.

Garnish with fresh arugula and spinach, then top it off with the guacamole and pico the gallo.

Serve with some Cholula or chilli sauce of your choosing for an extra kick (optional).

Assembling the nachos

The secret step that makes this so special is making a paste with onion, chilli, coriander/cilantro and salt before adding the avocado. Mashing is key to release flavour. And nobody wants raw onion chunks in their guac!

avocados (or 1 very large one) ((Note 1))

Place the onion, jalapeño, salt and half the coriander on a cutting board and use a fork to mash until juicy. OR do this in a mortar and pestle - grind into a paste.

Scrape into a bowl, add avocado and remaining coriander, and mash to desired consistency.

Do a taste test then adjust to your taste: salt, lime juice for sour, more chilli for spiciness.

If using tomatoes, stir through.

Serve with corn chips!

How to make guacamole. 2 methods of preparation: the best-known method, prepared with a bowl and fork or made in the molcajete, a Mexican mortar and pestle. Both methods have the authentic Mexican taste.

STANDARD METHOD

Remove the flesh of the avocados.

Mash the avocados with the back of a fork.

Add the other ingredients and incorporate evenly.

Add salt to taste.

MOLCAJETE METHOD

Add the chopped onion, serrano chile, cilantro, and salt to the molcajete.

Grind until you have a smooth paste.

Add the avocados to the molcajete and grind until slightly chunky.

Add the tomatoes to the molcajete and incorporate. Do not grind the tomatoes.

Adjust the salt.

How to Make Guacamole

In a large bowl, mix onion, lime, and salt. Set aside while you chop and prepare everything else.

Add avocado to bowl and mash with a fork, pastry cutter, or potato masher until only small chunks remain (or completely smooth, depending on your preference). 

Add jalapeño and cilantro, stir to combine.

Serve immediately.

One-pan chilli eggs with guacamole

4-6 large free-range eggs

For the guacamole

½ red onion, very finely chopped

To make the guacamole, halve the avocados, remove the stones and scoop out the flesh with a spoon. Put in a bowl and mash roughly with a fork, adding a pinch of sea salt. Mix in the rest of the ingredients, then taste and adjust the seasoning. Cover with cling film (see make ahead), then chill until needed.

When ready to eat, heat the sunflower oil in a large frying pan over a high heat. Crack in the eggs, then fry so the bottoms of the whites go crisp but the yolks stay runny.

In a small bowl, combine the olive oil with the chilli and some salt and pepper. Once the eggs are cooked to your liking, drizzle them with the oil and put the pan on the table. Serve with the guacamole, and toast for scooping.

Slice avocados in half, remove the pits and place in a large bowl.

Add diced onions, cilantro, jalapenos, green onions, salsa, lime juice and seasonings.

Mash with a fork until desired consistency is obtained.

Lay a piece of plastic wrap right on top of the guacamole and place in the fridge until ready to serve. This helps keep the guacamole green.

Cut the avocado into two equal parts. Remove the ripe pulp with a spoon.

Mix it with the rest of the chopped ingredients, salt, olive oil and lemon juice. Add the seasonings - salt and freshly crushed black pepper. You can even chop the avocado pulp and then mix with the remaining ingredients.

Mash the avocado while mixing.

Serve this best guacamole with toast, tortilla chips, nachos or as an accompaniment with a burrito or quesadilla. You can garnish with a few coriander leaves while serving.
