To make simple syrup combine Truvia and water in a medium saucepan over medium heat; stir until Truvia has dissolved. Let cool completely. Stir in vanilla extract; set aside to cool.

Pour coffee over ice. Mix in almond milk. Stir in simple syrup, to taste.

Grind the coffee beans into a coarse grind. Grind the coffee beans in a coffee grinder until they are coarsely ground. Depending on the capacity of the coffee grinder, you may need to grind the coffee in batches. The goal is a coarse grind about the size of demerara or raw sugar. 

Combine the ground coffee and water in the jar. Pour the ground coffee in to a 3-quart jar or pitcher. Add the water.

Stir to incorporate. Gently stir the coffee with the water until well-blended. The coffee will float to the top as it sits, but don’t stress about that — just make sure all of the coffee gets wet. 

Steep the coffee overnight in the fridge. Cover and refrigerate the cold brew for at least 18 hours or up to 24 hours. 

Strain the coffee concentrate. Line a fine-mesh strainer with cheesecloth and set it over a large measuring cup. Slowly pour the coffee concentrate through the strainer. Depending on the size of your strainer, you may need to strain the coffee in batches. Fight the temptation to squeeze or press the coffee grounds in the cheesecloth. 

Transfer to the cold brew to a clean jar for longer-term storage. Once strained, transfer the coffee to clean, airtight jars for long-term storage. Cover and refrigerate for up to 2 weeks. 

Make your iced coffee. To serve, fill a glass with 1 cup ice cubes. Pour 1/2 cup the cold brew over the ice, add 1/2 cup cold water, and stir to combine. Add sweet cream or half-and-half if desired and enjoy. 

How To Make Iced Coffee - French Press Method

Grind the coffee beans. Grind 1/3 cup of coffee beans until they are coarse enough to be filtered by the French press, yet fine enough to infuse well. On my burr grinder, I grind right in between middle and fine.

Combine the ground coffee and water in the French press. Pour the ground coffee into a French press and top with 1 1/2 cups of water.

Stir to incorporate. Gently stir the coffee with the water until well-blended.

Put on French press lid. Make sure the plunger is in the up position.

Steep the coffee overnight in the fridge. Leave the plunger in the up position so the grounds infuse the water overnight.

Plunge to separate the coffee from the grounds. The next morning, plunge the French press to separate the coffee from the grounds.

Make your iced coffee. Fill a glass with ice cubes and fill partway with milk. Fill the rest of the glass with iced coffee. Stir to combine and enjoy!

This Easy Instant Pot Vietnamese Iced Coffee is a great way to start your day or cool down on hot days.

Instant Pot Vietnamese Iced Coffee

Sweetened Condensed Milk

Add ground coffee and water to the Instant Pot insert and stir to mix.

Place the lid on the Instant Pot, lock and set the valve to sealing position (not venting).

Select pressure cook (or manual) high pressure, and set the timer for 5 minutes.

When cook time is finished, allow for a complete natural pressure release.

Add ice to a tall glass or mason jar.

Pour 3/4 cup of the coffee concentrate into the glass.

If you do not have a frother, you can also add everything into a jar and shake it until it gets whipped &amp; frothy.

Make the salted cream cold foam cold brew coffee

Add the cold brew to a glass, over ice. Stir in the remaining ½ tablespoon maple syrup. If you like a sweeter cold brew coffee, go ahead and add in a little extra maple syrup. If you like unsweetened cold brew coffee, feel free to leave it out. Pour or spoon the salted cream cold foam over top. Enjoy!

This is the first recipe from Jess that I ever found and what brought me into the PWWB world, and I'm so glad! The perfect touch of saltiness and sweetness without going overboard, and good points/research on type of milk - I usually use half and half but her note about skim milk frothing better was key!

I've been craving this Starbucks order for three weeks now (due to shelter-in-place)!! This is THE recipe. Others I've tried call for caramel syrup in the foam and it doesn't give it the same flavor. All I have is half and half and 2% milk, so I'm excited to see how frothy it can be when I try with skim. Perfect balance of sweet and salty. I love having this recipe now, because certain days I like it sweeter than others :)

There are two ways to make Vietnamese coffee. The simplest method is to steep coffee grounds in a heatproof container with 2/3 cup boiling water for 4 minutes. Pour through a coffee filter into a heatproof glass.

Or use a metal filter, which we recommend. Bring 1 cup water to a boil. Remove top screen from filter, add coffee, then screw on top screen. Place filter over a heatproof 12-oz. glass or measuring cup.

Pour a splash of the hot water into filter; this will allow the coffee grounds to bloom. When coffee begins to drip through, add enough water to reach top of filter. Place lid on filter and let coffee drip for 4 minutes. If coffee stops dripping sooner, gently loosen screw to relieve pressure.

Stir in condensed milk until blended. Add ice, stir, and serve.

For the Coffee:

In a pitcher or bowl whisk together the heavy cream and sweetened condensed milk. Store in the fridge in an airtight container until ready for use.

For the Homemade Sweetened Creamer:

Fill a glass with ice (or better yet, coffee ice!). Pour 3/4 full with coffee. Fill the remaining 1/4 with the creamer mixture. If you prefer a sweeter and creamier iced coffee you can do equal parts instead.

Add in optional add-ins if desired.
