Tried it today and it turned out great!  I also made keto sausage soup with onions, celery, kale, squash, chicken broth and heavy cream for the main dish.  At meal time I toasted the bread (twice) until it was crunchy, sliced it into french-fry-sized pieces, then dipped the pieces in olive oil, grated cheese and garlic & herb sprinkles.  Hit the spot.

I tried this recipe for the first time tonight. 
I made a couple changes. I added a little extra baking powder, no cream of tartar, and I 
added a 1/2 cup of shredded cheddar cheese. 
Yes, it is a little “eggy” tasting But the texture is 
really good.

This bread is not yummy with just butter... it’s like the bread is flavorless so you have to put something on it

¼ cup (185 grams) Vital Wheat Gluten

(80 grams) Golden Milled Flaxseed

(30 grams) oat fiber (or potato fiber)

(240 milliliters) water (body temperature)

eggs (lightly beaten)

tbsp softened ghee or grass fed butter

heavy cream (to

Put the vital wheat gluten, oat fiber, golden milled flaxseed, sweetener and yeast in a bowl and stir to combine.

Add the eggs, butter and water. Use a hand mixer fitted with dough beaters (or a stand mixer) to mix the dough on low speed initially. Sprinkle with the salt and Xanthan Gum.

Increase the speed and keep mixing until the dough comes together and clumps around the beaters.

Tip the dough onto your worktop and knead together briefly. Stretch the dough to form a rectangle that’s the same size as the long edge of your loaf tin.

Roll the dough as you would a Swiss Roll and place in the tin. Cover loosely with a plastic bag and place it in a warm spot to rise for 1 ½ - 2 hours. The dough will expand to fill the tin and rise over the top of it.

Preheat the oven to 180C (350F). Brush the loaf with the cream and add seeds or any other toppings you like.

Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the bread is golden and well risen. You can add some ice cubes on the bottom of the oven to help the bread rise.

Lift the bread out of the tin and allow it to cool completely before slicing.

Keto Bread Recipe with Yeast! | Supergolden Bakes

Tender fathead dough rolled into balls and sprinkled with everything bagel seasoning, for a delicious and fun keto pull apart bread.

Keto Everything Bagel Bread

poppy seeds

tsp sesame seeds

tsp dried garlic flakes

Whisk all of the seasoning ingredients in a bowl and set aside.

Seasoning

Preheat the oven to 375F and grease a round 8-inch metal baking pan. Set a small ovenproof ramekin upside down in the center and grease the sides of the ramekin as well.

In a medium bowl, whisk together the almond flour, coconut flour, whey protein, baking powder, and garlic powder.

In a large microwave safe bowl, melt the cheese on high in 30 second increments until well melted and you can stir it together.

Working quickly, cover the cheese with the almond flour  mixture, and add the eggs and sour cream. Use a silicone spatula to stir everything together, kneading the mixture hard against the side of the bowl with the spatula until mostly uniform.

Dough

Use wet hands to roll the dough into scant 1-inch balls, and place them in the prepared baking pan. Once there is a single layer of balls, brush them with some of the melted butter and sprinkle with seasoning.

Continue adding dough balls until all the dough is gone. Brush the top with melted butter and sprinkle with more seasoning. (You can reserve a bit of butter and seasoning for after they come out of the oven).

Bake 20 to 30 minutes, until the bread is golden brown and the top is just firm to the touch. Remove and let cool at least 20 minutes. Brush with any additional melted butter and sprinkle with remaining seasoning.

Loosen the ramekin in the center and remove. You can use the hole in the center to add another ramekin filled with cream cheese or Boursin for dipping.

Tbsp Softened Grass-fed Butter

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.  Grease a loaf pan with coconut oil or avocado oil.  Set pan aside.

Separate egg whites from the egg yolks.  Add egg whites to a large mixing bowl and yolks to a separate smaller bowl.  Set bowl of yolks aside.

Add cream of tartar to bowl of egg whites.  Using an electric hand mixer, whisk egg whites until it forms a foam-like texture.  It should look similar to whipped cream (see recipe video for reference).  Set bowl of egg whites aside.

In a food processor, add the egg yolks, 1/3 of the egg white mixture, almond flour, softened butter or ghee, baking powder, and sea salt.  Blend until combined.

Add the remaining egg whites to the food processor and pulse a few times until incorporated.  Be careful not to over process it.

Transfer this mixture into your loaf pan.  Bake bread for 30 minutes or until fully cooked through.  You can use the toothpick method by poking the bread and if the toothpick comes out clean, it’s ready!

Let bread cool completely before removing from the loaf pan.  Keep bread stored in refrigerator wrapped in saran wrap or foil.  You can use this bread for sandwiches, avocado toast, and you can also add some oil to a skillet and toast the bread.  Will last up to a week in the refrigerator.

This low carb bread recipe uses gluten flour, golden flax and oat fibre to create a delicious tasting low carb bread. Honestly, I cannot fault this bread, other than I wish I could do it gluten free.

Low Carb Bread Recipe

water (See Note 2)

inulin (or sub sugar

yeast ((7 grams) See Note 3)

eggs (room temperature large eggs, See Note 4)

salt flakes

golden flax meal ((80 grams) or almond meal)

oat fiber ((50 grams) click

gluten flour ((180 grams) click for supplier)

70 g salted butter (cubed, See Note 6)

tsp xanthan gum (optional)

Combine inulin and yeast with water; cover with cling film and a silicone mat and leave in a warm place until yeast activates and almost doubles with foam. This can take 20-40 minutes.

KNEAD

Add all ingredients to mixer, including activated yeast. Using dough hook attachment knead dough for minimum 5 minutes (dough will be smooth, soft and supple but not wet)

ROLL

Stretch dough out to large rectangle roughly as wide as your loaf tin. Roll dough over lengthwise to form a roll. Place into loaf tin seam side down.

PROVE

Cover loaf with clean towel or silicone mat and leave in warm place for approximately 1 hour until loaf has risen.

PREHEAT

Preheat the oven to 170℃/350°F. Line a 25.5cm x 13cm loaf tin.

BAKE

CONVENTIONAL METHOD

Add inulin, yeast and warm water to the mixer. Heat 2 min/37°C/speed 1. Leave lid on and leave for 10-15 minutes or until thick and foamy.

Place all ingredients into the mixer bowl; knead 5 min/dough setting. Follow from step 3 above.

LOW CARB BREAD, IS IT KETO?
Let’s start by addressing that this low carb bread recipe does contain gluten. So, for those of you who cannot tolerate gluten this low carb bread recipe is totally out for you.
Since starting blogging keto I have had my share of people telling me what is or is not keto foods. Keto is actually based on the state of ketosis right? Eating a very low carb diet to maintain a ketones in the blood is “being keto”. This recipe still suits that lifestyle but this bread does contain grain.
This low carb bread recipe only has 1g net carbs per slice, based on 20 slices per loaf, or 2g net carbs per roll, based on a 10 x 60g rolls from one batch of dough.

90 Second Keto Bread

Mix dry ingredients

To a small bowl, add almond flour, protein powder, baking powder, allulose and salt (if using). Whisk until combined. 

Add wet ingredients

Add butter, egg white, sour cream and heavy cream. Mix with a fork until combined. 

Pour into baking dish

Spray a square microwave or oven-safe baking dish with cooking spray and lay down 2 strips of parchment paper to line the dish on each side. Add bread dough batter to the lined dish and spread evenly. 

Microwave instructions

Place dish in the microwave at bake at 100% power for 90 seconds or until bread is set on top and springs back when you touch the top. Remove from microwave and let cool before slicing. 

Oven instructions

Bake at 350 degrees for 9-11 minutes or until the bread is set on top and springs back when you touch the top. Remove from oven and let cool before slicing. 

Sliced bread

Using a serrated knife, cut the bread loaf into two slices by cutting down the middle. 

Toast instructions

Add each slice of bread to a toaster, toaster oven or air fryer and toast for about 2-4 minutes or until golden brown and toasted.

Sure, keto friendly bread is now available at the grocery store; however, many of those low carb loaves contain gluten - which is not ideal on the keto diet. This recipe for fluffy easy keto bread with almond flour is gluten-free and tastes like actual bread without being dense and it's around 2 grams of carbs per slice!

Melt cheeses

Add shredded mozzarella cheese and cream cheese to a microwave safe bowl and microwave at 60 second intervals, stirring in between, until completely melted. 

Pulse until dough forms

To a food processor, add melted cheese, eggs, almond flour, protein powder, sour cream, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Pulse until combined.

Add the bread dough to a loaf pan lined with parchment paper and coated with cooking spray.

Bake

Bake in a 325 degree oven for 30-32 minutes. Let cool for 3-5 minutes before removing from the loaf pan.
