Easy Baked Lemon Pepper Chicken Recipe

chicken breast (skinless & boneless) (approx 9 ounce)

lemon pepper powder (for seasoning)

Rub the olive oil on the chicken pieces. Mix all the spices together and toss the chicken very well in the mixture. It should be applied evenly on all sides. It can be marinated (but not necessary).

To Prepare the Marinade Lemon Pepper Chicken

Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F and grease the baking tray with oil slightly. Nicely keep the chicken pieces on the tray and bake for about (15  &#8211; 18 minutes)

Remove the Lemon Pepper Chicken breast from the oven and serve hot garnished with finely chopped parsley.

Bake Lemon Pepper Chicken Breast

Preheat the grill to medium with the grill plate greased with oil.

Place the chicken breasts or other chicken pieces used on the grill plate. And grill them for 5 -7 minutes on each side.

Remove the chicken pieces on the serving plate and serve the Lemon Pepper Chicken breast hot with finely chopped parsley.

Take the skillet pan and on medium high heat, add 3 tablespoons oil. Make it hot till the oil shimmers. Add the chicken breasts and fry on one side for 4 &#8211; 5 minutes or till the chicken side becomes brown.

The turn the chicken and reduce the heat to medium. Cover the skillet partly and let the chicken pieces get cooked internally for 10 &#8211; 12 minutes.

Finally place the Lemon Pepper Chicken Breast pieces on the serving plate and garnish it with finely chopped parsley.

Oven Baked Lemon Pepper Chicken Thighs

2-3 lbs boneless skinless chicken thighs

tbsp lemon juice

Lemon Pepper Seasoning (This one’s our favorite)

Salt

Pepper

tsp Garlic Powder

tsp Chili Powder

tsp Italian Seasoning

To make these yummy baked lemon pepper chicken thighs, grab 2-3 pounds of chicken thighs (about 8-10 thighs) and trim off any excess fat. You can also cut the thighs into smaller pieces, if desired. This is definitely the most time consuming part of the entire recipe, but definitely worth it.

Next in a large bowl coat the chicken thighs with olive oil and freshly squeezed lemon juice and sprinkle with salt and pepper.

Now it&#8217;s time to add the rest of your seasonings including lemon pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, chili powder, and Italian seasoning. Sprinkle all of the seasonings liberally over the chicken coating it on both sides.

Next line a large baking sheet with parchment paper and place a roasting rack in the center of the pan. Spray with non-stick spray and place the chicken thighs on the roasting rack, ensuring the sides don&#8217;t touch each other. Bake for 30-40 minutes or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees.

Once fully cooked, let chicken thighs rest for 5 minutes before serving and enjoy!

Lemon Pepper Chicken

Tbsp all-purpose flour

Italian seasoning

tsp black pepper

tsp salt, (or to taste)

garlic powder

sugar

Tbsp unsalted butter, (divided)

Tbsp fresh lemon juice, (plus 1/2 tsp lemon zest)

In a mixing bowl whisk together flour, Italian seasoning, pepper, salt, garlic powder, and sugar. Evenly sprinkle and press mixture over both sides of chicken.

Melt 1 Tbsp butter with olive oil in a 12-inch non-stick skillet over medium-high heat.

Tilt pan to evenly coat with butter mixture then add chicken.

Let chicken cook until golden brown on bottom, about 5 minutes.

Flip pieces then let chicken continue to cook until cooked through in center. It should reach 165 degrees in center, about 5 minutes longer. Melt remaining 2 Tbsp butter in with chicken just near the end of cooking.

Remove from heat pour lemon juice into skillet along with lemon zest. Turn chicken pieces to coat in lemon butter mixture.

Sprinkle with parsley and serve warm.

Grilled Bone-In Chicken Breast | 5 Simple Steps

Preheat the grill to 450 degrees.

Prepare the chicken- Trim any excess skin off the chicken and add the chicken to a bowl.

Add the oil to the chicken and make sure it coats all sides. Add the lemon pepper seasoning and mix it all over the chicken.

Add the chicken to the preheated grill. Rotate the chicken after you get some great sear marks on one side and it looks like it can go any longer before it will burn.

Monitor the chicken with a meat thermometer. You are looking for a temp just under 165 degrees before you pull it from the grillIf your doing breast with thighs and legs, be prepared to pull the chicken off early because the breast will not be done yet.

Pull the chicken and let it rest. You are shooting for 5-10 minutes.

Grilled Lemon Pepper Chicken

(8 - 10 ounces each) boneless skinless chicken breasts

rosemary (minced)

thyme (minced)

juice lemon (divided)

Place the boneless chicken breasts between two sheets of plastic wrap and pound to 1/4 inch thickness using a flat meat mallet or tenderizer, a rolling pin or the bottom of a cast iron skillet. SEE NOTE in next step.

NOTE: if the breasts are really thick, you can butterfly them before pounding. Using a large very sharp knife, slice through the breast middle horizontally leaving it connected on one side or cutting into two pieces. Open the chicken breast and follow the pounding instructions above in step 1.

Remove from plastic wrap and pat dry with paper towels.

In a small bowl mix together the salt, pepper, and chopped herbs. Place half the lemon juice in a separate small bowl and the olive oil in a third small bowl. This makes it easy to quickly season the chicken on the grill. Reserve the remaining half lemon (or half of the lemon juice).

Preheat the grill to high (450 degrees F). A gas grill or charcoal grill can be used. When at temperature brush grate well with a grill brush and oil the grill grates well with vegetable oil.

Brush each side of the chicken breasts with olive oil then season with kosher salt, freshly ground black pepper, chopped thyme and rosemary and brush on half of the lemon juice (you may not use it all).

Place the chicken breasts onto the prepared grill grates. Grill for 2 minutes with the lid down, flip over and grill an additional 2 minutes, again with the lid closed (cover grill).

Check the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees F as measured with a meat thermometer (we recommend using an instant read food thermometer so the chicken doesn&#39;t begin to cool which checking the temperature).

Remove from grill and allow to rest a 3 minutes. Squeeze on the remaining lemon juice and serve in whole pieces or slice on a cutting board.

Cook the chicken: Heat the oil in a large pan over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and sear for 3 to 4 minutes on one side, then flip over and cook another 3 to 4 minutes (until an instant-read thermometer reaches 160 to 165°F). Remove to a plate.

Make sauce

Make the sauce: Add the butter to the pan, and saute the garlic in the butter for about 30 seconds. Add the chicken broth and lemon juice, and reduce the sauce for a minute or two.

Finish

Finish and serve: Add the chicken back to the pan, and spoon the sauce on top. Garnish with lemon zest, and if you&#39;d like, chopped parsley and lemon slices.

LEMON PEPPER CHICKEN | The Easiest 15-Minute Dinner Recipe!

This grilled lemon pepper chicken is the perfect summer grilling recipe! This juicy chicken is packed with lemon, garlic and onion flavors that will make your mouth water and keep you coming back for more! 

Chicken Breasts ((boneless, skinless))

Cup Olive Oil

Lemon

Garlic

Medium Onion (diced)

Chicken Breast

Lemon Juice

Whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Add the diced onion.

Put chicken in a gallon sized bag with marinade. Allow to marinate overnight.

Place chicken on preheated grill and sprinkle with additional pepper. Cook for about 20 minutes on the grill or until no longer pink in center. **You can also grill additional lemon slices for garnish.**

Zest lemon before squeezing juice. This step will just make your life easier.  Use a citrus zester and make sure not to overdo it. You just want the yellow bits, not the bitter white part that lies right under the rind. After zesting, cut lemons in half and squeeze juice through a strainer into a bowl.
