What's your favorite chicken wing flavor?

These wings were good but they weren’t as flavorful as I was expecting. Could they be marinated longer? Also, my marinade stayed watery when trying to thicken it up to brush the wings with before broiling. I’d like to give this recipe another try. Any suggestions?

I made this recipe before and my family absolutely loved it!! And then I forgot about it and then found it again today so guess what we're having for dinner it's a perfect balance of delicious flavors..🍗🍗 I will serve it with some Jasmine rice With a hint of sweet chili sauce and oven roasted veggies.

I made these tonight and they are delicious! I took suggestions from 2 other reviewers and 1) added a teaspoon of Chinese 5-spice powder to the marinade and 2) used Sriracha instead of chili sauce, which I didn't have on hand. I will say that you do NOT need to bake these for almost an hour on 400 deg; 30 mins was plenty of time, at least in my oven. Also, 1 minute under the broiler worked just fine.

Agree with suecin, recipe was a great starting point, but wanted MORE!!11! flavor :)
My tweaks, after a couple of variations:
 0) use half the olive oil
 1) triple the Sriracha (aka chili garlic sauce)
 2) triple the grated ginger ( "til your arm is ready to die" )
 3) don't marinade the chicken, just blot it dry, salt/pepper, and bake at 400 for an hour -- gets much crispier.
 4) Heat the sauce in a pan for a few minutes, until it starts getting pretty sticky.
 5) Dump sticky sauce on wings, and eat!

For chili maniacs, Sriracha isn't all that hot -- my son likes adding a single habanero diced as small as possible to the sauce -- that was a little too hot for me, maybe just HALF an habanero! Will definitely keep making this, thanks DELISH!

This recipe is so good! For me leaving the chicken wings for 40 minutes was enough time to fully cook them, but it’s probably because I put less chicken wings than the recipe. Otherwise, perfect easy marinade for chicken wings!

Delicious cake & the icing is amazing.. but beware.. this recipe made 2!!! Cakes! I’m so glad I saw the review about how it spilled over for one baker.. It was way too much cake for one nine inch pan and bubbled over into the oven.

Cut the sweet potatoes into ¼-inch slices. Place the slices in a large bowl, sprinkle with 1 ½ tablespoons olive oil, 1 teaspoon garlic powder, 1 teaspoon chili powder, and 1 teaspoon kosher salt, and stir to thoroughly coat both sides of all slices. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, taking care that the rounds do not overlap (if possible). Bake 10 minutes on one side, then remove from the oven, flip all rounds, and bake another 10 minutes until soft.

While the potatoes bake, thinly slice the green onions.

When the potatoes are done, remove them from oven and add a dot of hot sauce on each round (or more if desired). Top each round with shredded cheese and wait a few minutes for the cheese to melt (the potatoes will be hot enough at this point to melt the cheese).

To serve, place the rounds on a platter. Add a dollop of sour cream on each round, and garnish with sliced green onions. (Tip: To make the sour cream easier to dollop, mix it in a bowl with a few drops of water to loosen it).
