My Delicious and Easy Tuna Dip is creamy, full of flavour and takes just minutes to prepare! When a homemade dip is this simple and tasty, there is no need for a shop-bought dip. In fact, it will likely be quicker to make it from store cupboard ingredients than go to the store. 

Easy Tuna Dip

185 g (6.5 oz) canned tuna in oil (See Note 1)

tsp lemon zest (See Note 2)

mayonnaise egg

tsp cayenne pepper

parsley leaves

spring onion/scallion

sea salt and black pepper

lemon

Drain your tuna of any excess oil.

Zest the lemon. Chop the parsley and spring onion.

Place all of the ingredients into a small blender, and blend until the dip has reached a smooth consistency.Check that the seasoning is to your taste. Add salt and freshly ground black pepper if necessary. 

Serve the dip, spread in a shallow bowl with a garnish of parsley, spring/green onion top, capers or lemon zest. (Or all of the above!)

Love the super tasty, super easy dishes the best. I am not the greatest in the kitchen, but this turns out consistently great.

Very easy to make of course and because I am allergic to mayo, I replaced it with Greek yogurt and added capers to take the tang from the yogurt. Slightly grainy but I think this is because I used tuna in spring water rather than oil and I think oil would give it a smoother consistency. Lovely recipe though and one that I'll make again.

Just finished preparing it and it tastes yummy. Best tuna dip I've tasted in a long time, much better than the ones I buy in the shops. Hope my lunch guests will agree tomorrow

This tuna dip was so good that I couldn't stop eating it! I usually have a tuna salad sandwich for lunch but decided to switch it up and make this dip instead. I added some capers but otherwise followed the recipe exactly. It was delicious with carrot and celery sticks.

I just saw this and couldn't help commenting- I used to have a variation of this as a kid all the time, with the difference that we added hard boiled egg to the mix (blended with the tuna). It makes it even more wholesome! I bet the green onion makes a massive difference in yours too!

Tuna Dip

cream cheese, softened

mayonnaise

lemon juice

garlic powder

Old Bay seasoning

green onions, chopped

salt

black pepper

Place softened cream cheese and mayonnaise in a medium bowl. Beat with an electric mixer until creamy.

Add tuna, green onions, lemon juice, Old Bay Seasoning, garlic powder, salt and pepper in the bowl. Stir together until combined.

Cover and chill until ready to serve.

This was delicious! I omitted the green onion (I didn’t have any) and added some chopped dill pickle pieces. Ate it with pita chips. My husband and I loved it!

Buffalo Tuna Dip

(5 oz) cans of tuna (drained)

Franks RedHot Sauce

(8 oz) block of cream cheese (softened)

ranch seasoning

Colby Jack Cheese (shredded)

In a large saucepan, over medium heat, combine the tuna and hot sauce. Heat until hot, about 3 minutes or so.

Add in cream cheese, ranch seasoning, garlic powder and cheese. Stir until the cheese has melted and dip is hot.

Transfer to a serving dish and enjoy with some tortilla chips, crackers, or veggies.

In a medium bowl, mix all ingredients together until well blended. Don’t forget to use softened cream cheese because it will be really hard to mix if not. Enjoy right away or cover and place in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.

Cold Buffalo Tuna Dip Instructions

Combine all ingredients in slow cooker. Cover and heat on low for 3 to 4 hours or high for 1 to 2 hours. Once the cheese has melted, stir, cover and turn slow cooker to the “keep warm” mode.

Easy Creamy Tuna Dip

(4.5 oz) cream cheese (at room temperature)

(6.5 oz) tinned tuna

Beat the room temperature cream cheese in a large bowl with a spoon until soft. (You can use a hand mixer or stand mixer instead if you prefer.)

Add the yogurt, curry powder, salt and black pepper and mix well.

oz block of cream cheese (softened)

In a medium bowl, combine the drained tuna, onion, lemon juice, salt and garlic powder.Mix everything together until well combined.

Add the corn and greek yogurt or (mayonnaise) and combine. Then ketchup and cilantro and mix again.

Taste the mixture and season with salt and pepper as desired.

Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to let the flavors meld. When ready to serve, transfer the tuna dip to a serving bowl and serve with crackers. Enjoy your delicious and easy tuna dip!
