Our turkey meatloaf is full of flavor, moist in the middle, and has become a reader favorite! You would never guess this meatloaf is packed with mushrooms, but that’s what makes it so darn delicious. Lots of finely chopped mushrooms add flavor and moisture, often missing from the typical turkey meatloaf. When choosing which mushrooms to add, white button mushrooms will work perfectly fine. For more flavor, try one or a combination of brown cremini, portobello, or shiitake mushrooms. The mushrooms need to be very finely chopped. You can do this by hand or use a food processor.

This IS the moistest meatloaf ever. I made it almost exactly as in the recipe but I only had 1 pound of turkey and so I added a pound of 96% fat free ground beef, hence it made a couple more servings since I used 2 lbs of meat.  My BF really doesn't like mushrooms but I had a an 8 oz container of baby bellas that was at its  use it or lose it date. I stuck those babies in my hand crank chopper thingie and made both the mushrooms and onions a pretty small dice (reminded me of duxelles).   He loved it and said it didn't taste mushroomy.  I'll definitely make it again.

This was amazing. I deviated slightly by de-glazing the sauteed onions and mushrooms with red wine and adding celery salt to the mix. I also used Italian-seasoned breadcrumbs vs plain Panko. I prefer a less sweet meatloaf so added only the thinnest layer of ketchup to the top of the loaf before cooking. It turned out fantastic. Will 100% make this again, even considering challenging my mother to a meatloaf bake off :)

Made a few turkey meatloafs in the past and they always tend to be on the dry side.  Tried this recipe tonight and what a difference.  Thank you for sharing the secret of mushrooms.  This will be my go to turkey meatloaf recipe in the future

I made this last night and I have to say that it was the BEST meatloaf ever ...I didn't have panko so I used oats (not a whole cup).   It was absolutely delicious and moist and we couldn't even tell it was not ground beef.  The mushrooms did the trick.  Used baby bellas.   Thank you so much for this go to recipe.

My husband will only eat extra lean turkey meat no beef so I never thought I could make meatloaf but... this recipe is amazing so moist and flavorful.  It was just as good the next day.  Will definitely be making this often.  I didn’t have panko breadcrumbs so I used seasoned croutons but other than that didn’t stray from the recipe.

Unbelievably Moist Turkey Meatloaf Recipe - How to Make Homemade Turkey Meatloaf

Turkey meatloaf is a favorite in our house! This healthy meatloaf recipe made with lean ground turkey is easy and delicious.

Turkey Meatloaf

onion

olive oil

99% turkey

marjoram

salt

Preheat the oven to 350F.

In a small bowl combine 2 tbsp of the ketchup with Worcestershire sauce.

In a small skillet, heat olive oil and onion on low heat until translucent, 3 to 5 minutes, remove from heat.

In a medium bowl combine the turkey, onion, breadcrumbs, egg, 1/4 cup ketchup, salt and marjoram.

Place mixture into a loaf pan or shape into a loaf and place on a baking pan. Spoon sauce on top.

Bake uncovered for 55-60 minutes, remove from oven and let it sit for 5 minutes before slicing.

Thursday Turkey Meat Loaf

white sandwich bread, torn into small pieces (about 2 cups)

milk

turkey

Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese

onion, finely chopped

garlic, chopped

flat-leaf parsley leaves, chopped

oregano

breadcrumbs

Combine the bread and milk in a large bowl and soak for 10 minutes. Add the turkey, eggs, cheese, pancetta, onion, garlic, ketchup, parsley, oregano, breadcrumbs, salt and pepper. Mix well with your hands. Shape into an 8-inch-by-5-inch loaf and transfer to a rimmed baking sheet. Bake for 15 minutes. Reduce the heat to 325 degrees F and drizzle more ketchup all over the top of the loaf. Bake until a meat thermometer inserted into the center of the loaf reads 165 degrees F, about 45 minutes. Let the meat loaf rest for 10 minutes, then transfer to a platter and serve.

Delicious as is it I do add a finely chopped carrot and celery also and a drizzle of olive oil to the mix for my own liking

This is now our favorite meatloaf...my husband actually does like to have it once a week, with sandwiches to appear the next couple days.  It is truly a flavorful, beautiful, tasty meatloaf.  Thanks Valerie!

Asian Meatloaf

panko breadcrumbs

chicken

onion (finely chopped)

soy sauce

garlic (grated)

water chestnuts (diced)

tsp salt

tsp pepper

tbs brown sugar

ketchup or chili sauce

tsp chili paste

Preheat oven to 400F/200C. Line a baking sheet with parchment and spray with non-stick spray.

Place breadcrumbs in a large bowl and stir in the milk, making sure to coat the breadcrumbs. Let this stand for 5 minutes.

Add the ground chicken, onion, soy sauce, garlic, water chestnuts, egg, salt and pepper. Mix very well.

Mix glaze ingredients in a small bowl.

Shape the meat mixture into a loaf about 10-inches/25-cm long on the prepared baking sheet.

Brush the top with half the glaze. Bake for 30 minutes. Brush remaining glaze on top of the meatloaf and bake for an additional 30 minutes. Internal temp should be 165F/75C.

Let meatloaf rest 10 minutes before slicing.

Made with lean ground turkey and flavored with onions, garlic, herbs, parmesan and those classic staple sauces. It&#039;s juicy, tender and absolutely delicious!

(1.4 oz) finely shredded parmesan cheese

+ 1 Tbsp ketchup, (divided)

Tbsp dijon mustard

Tbsp chopped fresh parsley, (plus more for garnish)

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and spray with non-stick cooking spray or line with parchment paper.

Heat 1 Tbsp olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.

Add onion and saute until slightly golden brown, about 5 minutes. Add garlic and saute 30 seconds longer.

Meanwhile in a large mixing bowl stir together bread crumbs and chicken broth.

Add cooked onion mixture to bread crumb mixture and stir. Transfer to fridge to let cool completely about 15 to 20 minutes.

To cooled mixture add parmesan, Worcestershire, 1 Tbsp ketchup, the dijon, parsley, thyme, egg, egg yolk, salt(you can season with a little more if you want it a little saltier) and pepper. Stir mixture to blend well.

Add ground turkey and using your hands toss and mix until well combined.

Shape mixture into a 9 by 4-inch loaf on prepared baking sheet. Brush with remaining 1/2 Tbsp olive oil.

Bake in preheated oven 45 minutes. Remove meatloaf and brush with remaining 1/3 cup ketchup.

Return to oven and bake until center registers 165 (I recommend taking temperature in every 1/3 area of the loaf), about 10 to 20 minutes longer.

Remove from oven and let rest 5 minutes. Sprinkle with a little more parsley (about 1/2 Tbsp) and cut into slices. Serve warm.

I have been making this Instant Pot cheddar turkey meatloaf recipe for dinner on repeat! It is one of my absolute favorite recipes

Instant Pot Cheddar Turkey Meatloaf Dinner Recipe

egg (lightly beaten)

sharp cheddar (shredded (I use Cabot Seriously Sharp))

quick cooking oats (or breadcrumbs)

garlic salt

ketchup

Dijon mustard

brown sugar

potatoes

(12 oz. frozen whole green beans)

salt and pepper

In a large bowl stir together egg, cheese, milk, oats, salt and garlic salt, and let stand for 5 minutes. After 5 minutes, add ground turkey and stir to combine. *

Make the meatloaf glaze -in a small bowl, whisk together ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard and brown sugar and set aside.

Pour 1 cup of water into the bottom of your Instant Pot and add the trivet.

Crisscross 2 large sheets of aluminum foil, twice, 1 set of 2 sheets will hold the meatloaf and the other set of 2 sheets will hold the potatoes and the green beans. You want the aluminum foil to be long enough so that you’ll have enough to hold the meatloaf and then also it will act as a sling for lowering and lifting, I’d say each piece about 20 inches. You can use a loaf pan as a ‘mold’ leaving the aluminum foil over the edges.

Shape a narrow meatloaf in the center of 2 pieces of the aluminum foil and put it into the Instant Pot, pressing it so that it only takes up half of the Instant pot, make sure to leave edges of aluminum foil for lifting over the top of the meatloaf. Brush half the glaze on

Put potatoes and green beans into the remaining 2 pieces of aluminum foil and carefully lower it into the other side of the Instant Pot.

Secure the lid and set the Pressure Release to Sealing. Select the Manual setting and set the cooking time for 25 minutes at high pressure. Perform a quick release by moving the Pressure release to Venting.

After the pressure has released, remove the lid and carefully remove the meatloaf – I like to pour out any liquid that has formed at the bottom of the meatloaf.

Brush the remaining glaze on the meatloaf, slice and serve meatloaf with side of green beans and potatoes. **

Alternatively you could make this in the oven. Preheat oven to 350.

Make two aluminum foil packets as described above and place them on a baking sheet. Bake for 1 hour.

Make sure the meatloaf has reached an internal temperature of 165.

Turkey Meatloaf | Slimming &amp; Weight Watchers Friendly

turkey breast mince

carrot (grated)

red pepper (finely diced)

courgette (grated)

tsp garlic granules

egg (beaten)

low calorie cooking spray

salt and black pepper

tbsp Henderson's Relish (or Worcestershire sauce)

tomato puree

tsp balsamic vinegar

tsp smoked paprika

granulated sweetener

Sauté

Preheat the oven to 180ºC. Spray the frying pan with low calorie cooking spray. Over a medium heat, sauté the onion, carrots, peppers and courgette, for 5 minutes until soft. Allow to cool for a couple of minutes.

While the vegetables are cooling, put all the ingredients for the glaze into a small bowl and mix well.

Place

Place the turkey, breadcrumbs, garlic granules, oregano and egg into a large bowl.

Add the cooled vegetables and mix well. Season with salt and black pepper. You can check your seasoning by cooking a penny sized piece of the meatloaf mix in a frying pan, and add a little more if required.

Put the turkey mix on a baking sheet that has been sprayed with low calorie cooking spray and mould into a loaf shape, about 4cm deep.

Brush

Place in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes.

Allow

When cooked, allow to rest for 5 minutes, before slicing and serving with your choice of accompaniments.

Preheat oven to 375°F. Line a rimmed baking sheet with foil. Spray a six-cup muffin tin with nonstick cooking spray and set on top of the baking sheet.

In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, olive oil, quick oats, garlic powder, and freshly ground black pepper.

In a 1-cup measuring cup, measure out barbecue sauce, ketchup, and Worcestershire sauce; stir well. Pour half of the barbecue sauce mixture into the ground turkey mixture and mix to combine.

Evenly divide the meat mixture between the six muffin cups, smoothing the tops of the mounds. Carefully spoon the remaining barbecue sauce mixture over the meatloaf muffins. Bake for 30 to 45 minutes, until the center of a meatloaf muffin reaches 165°F on an instant read thermometer. Use a spoon to help lift the muffins out of the pan and drain on a paper towel-lined plate.

Mix panko and milk and set aside for 5 minutes

Mix turkey, seasonings, egg and soaked panko in bowl until just combined

Form into loaf and place into slow cooker

Cover and cook on high for 3-4 hours or low for 6-8 until meatloaf reaches internal temperature of 160 degrees.

Mix together BBQ Sauce, tomato paste and sugar

Brush over meatloaf and let cook on high in slow cooker for another 15-20 minutes

Let rest 15 minutes before slicing
