Step 1

Melt the butter over medium heat in a sauce pan

Step 2

Stir the flour in and whisk for one minute

Step 3

Add milk, heavy cream, salt, parmesan, and cream cheese and stir for 1 - 2 minutes until cream cheese is mostly melted

Step 4

Add frozen corn and continue to cook, stirring often, for around 15 minutes, or until corn is plump and sauce is thick and creamy

Step 5

Serve the creamed corn immediately
