sift together flour,salt and baking powder; sett aside.

cream together shortening, goober, and sugars; beat in vanilla and eggs.

Step 4

stir in flour mixture, blending well. shape mixture into 1 inch balls; place on greased cookie sheet. flatten each cookie with the tines of a fork;dip fork in flour to keep it from sticking to cookie dough. bake cookies at 350 degrees for about 10 minutes.
