Slow-Cooker Buffalo Chicken Dip

Very good.  Just the right amount of heat.  I reheated the le4ftovers and served them over baked potatoes.  Good that way too.

I'm the first to admit I'm not a big fan of wing sauce, but we loved this dip!  I didn't have time to use my slow cooker, so I baked it in the oven instead.  The only thing I did differently was to mix all the ingredients together instead of layering and it came out great.  It was a hit on Super Bowl Sunday!  Great with tortilla chips, cracker or celery sticks.  Everyone loved it!

I made this for a Christmas munchy. I couldn't have asked for anything easier. I had cooked the chicken a couple of days before and just hid it in the fridge. Did have to leave out the blue cheese since my daughter doesn't like it. Also didn't have a green o onion.  Next time I may add more wing sauce since I like more heat. But overall, it was good and very easy to make.

This is good but would be better baked, to give it a nice golden crust on top.  Next time I make it, I'll sprinkle shredded parm cheese and/or buttered cracker crumbs on top, then bake.

Have not tried this recipe yet but will.  I think this would be a great way to use left-over roast chicken.

Only change I made was to add 4 green onions and a little more roasted chicken.  One of those dishes you can't keep your fingers out of.

Loved this one! Will make it again- and double it! I have made afew different Buffalo chicken dips, and this one is a Keeper! It is a favorite of friendsand family.

OMG !!!! I have made 3 other recipes for Buffalo Wing Dip and each time my family thought they were ok. I made this recipe and they went crazy over it !! It is the tastiest recipe I've ever made . The only thing I will do different next time is before I put the last cheese and onion on I will stir the dip up to mix it well and then add the last cup of cheese and the onion . This will be at our superbowl party !!!!

This was absolutely delicious!!!  Our crock pot was being used for another recipe so I baked this in the oven at 375 for 35 mins.  I combined the chicken & buffalo sauce and put that down as the first layer, then mixed the cream cheese, sour cream, ranch & blue cheese with a hand mixer and put that over the chicken.  Topped it all with shredded cheese--between the 4 of us we finished the whole thing!

OMG  this recipe is fabulous! I had all intentions of bringing it all to the office, but I confess I ate 1/3rd before it arrived the next day. It is honestly ADDICTING....you can use crackers, celery sticks, wrap it in a tortilla, or just use a spoon! Everyone absolutely LOVED this recipe!

I doubled the recipe and took this to a potluck at work. It can always be risky to try out a recipe on guinea pig co-workers but this was a hit. This dip was delicious: zippy without being fire-engine hot and so easy to prepare. I baked skinless, boneless chicken breasts in the oven while I put together the rest of the ingredients and then shredded the chicken breasts. If you like a spicier kick to your appetizers, add a little more buffalo sauce than is called for. I love it when you find a recipe that is so delicious that people think you must have really worked hard to prepare it!

Has anybody tried substituting some other kind of cheese for the blue cheese? What kind did you use? It sounds great except for that.

Made today for work party. I served blue cheese crumbles on the side instead of in the mix, forgot the green onions, served with chicken flavored crackers.  Needed more wing sauce to get it just right. Lots of complements!

I made this for our New Years Eve gathering and received many compliments!  Guests thought this was much better than the typical recipe(s) that you make with the canned chicken.  I purchased a roasted chicken breast from our local grocery store.  (I personally think canned chicken is gross, but to each their own).  Also used about 3/4 cup of hot sauce instead of the 1/2 cup. (We like spicy!)  It is very easy to prepare and reheats nicely.  Definitely will make this again.

It's always a hit when I bring it to a party.  I like to add a little bit more chicken to it.  Delicious!  You can't have just one bite.

Like others have said, after making many other buffalo wing dip recipes, this one is hands down the best! I too baked it at 375 for 35 min. (I also didn't bother with layering , just mixed it all up very well and it was totally fine). I then topped with remaining cheese and green onions and baked another 5-10 mins.  I had so many requests for this recipe! THANK YOU!!!

This is becoming a favorite in my family of 20 something year olds.  When we have family coming in, it's so easy to put this together.  When they arrive, it's ready for them to enjoy...and I have time to visit with them.

Tasty, but my boys didn't find it spicy at all.

So easy to make ahead of time.  Heated up great.  Didn't need the extra cheese.  Being from Buffalo, it did taste authentic.  Won't change anything.

This was a solid dish to make for family. Served with crackers, veggies and slices of garlic bread. Used precooked cubed chicken, which made the recipe quick to put together. Was good, but family didn't rave....for sure a good dish to make for a party though. Would make again.

Very good!  I did swap the blue cheese for cheddar - everyone loved it!

I use the chicken that comes in a can from the grocery store. It is just as good and quicker. It is also delish on mini rye bread.
