Step 1
Clean and prepare your fresh strawberries. Make sure they are thoroughly washed and cut into quarters, halves, or slices depending on your size preference.

In a large saucepan combine the cornstarch, sugar, jello mix, and boiled water to over medium heat. Whisk until well combined.
Step 3
Cook 5-8 minutes, until mixture becomes thick. Remove from heat.
Step 4
Add fresh strawberries and stir. Set aside.
Step 5
Place one pie crust into a greased pie pan. Cut off excess or mold edges with fingers. Set aside.
Step 6
Roll out your second pie crust and begin cutting out heart shapes with your cookie cutter.
Step 7
In a separate small bowl, beat the one egg to prepare for use on the heart shaped pie crust toppers.
Step 8
Pour strawberry mixture into pie crust. Then, cover the top of your pie and the outer edge with pie crust hearts, you can use various sizes if you wish. Leave about a 1 inch gap at the top, as shown.
Step 9
If desired, you can use an edible marker to carefully write a Valentine's message on your center heart.
Step 10
Brush the pie crust hearts with a beaten egg, just before placing it in the oven.
Step 11
Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown.
Step 12
Let cool. Serve and enjoy!
