This is an excellent salad. I did eliminate the oranges just because I forgot them, but since there is such a good variety of fruit, it was fine. Although it is simple, the dressing is the best and really makes this salad special. I used some of the left over ( since it does make a lot for 4 people), to put on top of waffles the next morning.  I would definitely make this again.

Definitely not my favorite asparagus recipe. Won’t be doing this again. Why even use the grill, if your goal is limp and soggy. Just toss them in oil and seasoning, and lay them right on the grill grates. Much better texture and flavor. The cheese lured me in, but I’ll just try adding cheese after they’re cooked the good way.

Try it in a smoker, same time as directed. OmG

Husband really liked it. I liked it because it was easy!  I think our potatoes were on the small side, so entire mixture to me seemed a bit more liquidy that I thought it should be.

These carrots are incredible!! Suggestion: toss them in the mixture then place them on the pan. If you drizzle it like the recipe says, the carrots don’t get coated.

The carrots are absolutely delightful! But I made a small twist by bake them in the oven without the honey. Then toss them in the pan with honey later, high heat for about 30s. That way, the honey won’t burn while the carrots taste more charred and smoky from the pan.

Sooooo good. I followed the advice of another user, and made double the glaze. Cooked it with half, and tossed it with a bit more at the end.  Also when it came to cutting the carrots, I quartered the huge ones and halved the smaller ones, just so they would bake evenly.

You wont be disappointed in this recipe.

Made this recipe for easter and it was a huge family hit.

I cut my carrots into coins and Substituted maple syrup for honey!! DRROOOLLLLL!!!!!!!!! This is seriously a staple on my shopping list that family always ask when I will be making them next!

This is my absolute favorite way to eat carrots now. It's amazing. I use rainbow carrots and it's a showstopper when we have company.

Make a double batch of glaze. 
Incorporate 1/2 prior to bake. 
2nd half after removing from oven. 
If you really want to step it up use about 1/4 to 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper.

This is a really simple recipe with a!mazing flavor.  I dribbled a little extra honey over the before serving.  I will be making this again.

Easy Roasted Carrots

I only used six carrots and they were some of the best carrots I have ever cooked. This is my new go to recipe. Thank you!

These are a little bland for my taste, and don’t get enough of the “char” roasted flavor to them. Rather than “quarter cut”, as in this recipe, I find if you cut each carrot  into 8ths (once in half, perpendicular to the carrot, and then each half into 4ths Vertically/ long ways, with lots of flat sides), they cook a bit more quickly and crisp up with that crucial “smokiness” to them. I toss mine in olive oil and minced garlic, then sprinkle with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder and dill before popping in the oven. I check them at about 20 mins, flip them so another flat side is on the foil/ cookie tray, and then cook for another 20 mins before flipping again and seeing if they’re done. You wind up with more of a char toasted carrot “French fry” that the family loves.

Very good! I sprinkled chipotle powder on them to give a bit of heat!

I made roasted carrots like this for dinner tonight. I was out of olive oil so I substituted with butter. It was delicious! I will definitely be roasting carrots like this again!

I just love Lindsay Funston's suggestions!!  I made this for my co-workers today in our little toaster oven at work.  They were the perfect side dish for our baked teriyaki chicken.

At 30 minutes,  carrots were nowhere near done.  Another 15 minutes,  barely fork tender. A dusting of cinnamon and brown sugar really brings out thesweetness of the carrots,  but we needed an hour to cook (45 @ 400, 15 @ 450 because everything else was done).

Ok but really not enough flavor for my taste. The cooking process made the carrots come out nicely from texture and the right firmness although I had to take them out at just over 20 minutes so the wouldn’t overcook. I just found them very bland and so will be experimenting with other seasonings.

Was very good! I did however add some more dressing than suggested, especially garlic. Felt it was a little dry/bland with the original amount of dressing.

This salad is delicious! The dressing is very good. I used everything the recipe called for and added shaved parmesan on top. I also used penne pasta.  I will definitely make this again!

Absolutely Delicious, but I changed quite a few things:  I substituted sun-dried tomatoes for the artichokes, used sauteed spinach instead of raw, opted the salami, doubled the cherry tomatoes and added sugar to the dressing.  So good!!

Please send positive comments.  Who cares about the food group.  Not revelant .  The Recipe is delicious as is and suggests to add more ingredients if needed.

We made this and added crab, scallops and shrimp!!!!  OMG fantastic!!!!

this was delicious I substituted smoked cheddar cheese for one of the cheeses. I made it on Wednesday Now I am making it again on following Tuesday. I poured the cream over no roux it did just great cheeses thicken it.

It did not turn out the way it shows. I followed the directions,  so i don't know what i did wrong. The cheese separated, i had a pool of liquid at the bottom. I think it would have been  best to do a cheese sauce for it or add cream cheese if you're trying to do keto.

Not as creamy as I would have liked. It was ok.  But, it needs work.

So good! I didn't follow the recipe exactly, but what I made came out fantastic. I added an extra clove of slice garlic with the butter and omitted the rosemary since I didn't have any, I was very generous with the salt and sparing with the pepper, covered the pan with some foil in the oven, and when they looked like they were about ready I added two move cloves of minced garlic on top and a little cream and let it sit for another few minutes in the oven before we ate it. Delicious!

Awesome recipe...  I was thinking this will beca baked potato but it is a nice center!  I used roasted garlic infused olive oil instead  of regular chopped garlic and it was amazing!

Burned garlic. Caveat emptor. Add it later. 350 F or 450 F?

These Potatoes Are Magically Buttery

Grilled Sweet Potato Salad with bacon and a tangy honey mustard dressing. The perfect healthy and delicious side dish this summer!

Grilled Sweet Potato Salad

canola oil

bacon,

green onions

garlic

mustard

dijon mustard

honey

lemon juice

apple cider vinegar

salt & pepper

Preheat grill to medium high heat, about 375-400 degrees F.

To a large bowl add sliced sweet potatoes and drizzle with canola oil. Toss to coat.

Place sweet potato slices directly on the grill and grill each side for 4 minutes.

While the sweet potatoes are cooking, place green onions directly on the grill. Grill each side for 2-3 minutes, until slightly charred. Remove from grill and roughly chop.

Once the sweet potatoes are charred and cooked through, remove those from grill and place in a large bowl.

To that same large bowl add charred green onions and bacon. Set aside.

Right before serving, to a small bowl add minced garlic clove, whole grain mustard, dijon mustard, honey, lemon juice, apple cider vinegar, olive oil, salt and pepper. Whisk to combine everything.

Drizzle the dressing over the sweet potatoes and gently toss to coat all the potatoes. Serve.

Wish I would have thought to grill sweet potatoes for a salad a long time ago!!! I saw this recipe as a side suggestion for the "Ultimate BBQ Baby Back Ribs" that I was making and it was a winner!!!!I have a few non stick grill toppers so it was easy to flip the potatoes. It was delish!!!
