BAKER'S Semi-Sweet Chocolate

Beat cream cheese spread, peanut butter and sugar in large bowl with mixer until blended. Add COOL WHIP; mix well.

Spread caramel topping onto bottom of crust; cover with cream cheese mixture. Freeze 4 hours or until firm.

Top with nuts just before serving. Melt chocolate as directed on package; drizzle over pie.

In a large bowl, cream together 1 cup (225 grams) of softened butter with the white sugar and salt, until light and fluffy.

Sieve together the flour, cocoa powder, and baking soda into the mix. Blend well.

Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, and mix together until combined.

Turn the dough out onto your surface and push together into a flat square. Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 1 hour.

Remove the dough from the fridge, and for ease of rolling out, divide the dough into 4 (this way the dough stays cool longer and prevents the need of re-chilling later on).

To roll out the dough, place a quarter of the dough between two sheets of parchment paper (alternatively the dough can be rolled out on a lightly floured surface - though the parchment is preferred as it prevents any additional flour from altering the color/appearance of the dark cookies). Roll the dough between the two sheets of parchment to ¼-inch (½ cm) thickness.

Using a small round cookie cutter (alternatively, we found the rim of a champagne glass to be a perfect size!) cut the dough into individual rounds and place on a large parchment-lined baking sheet, leaving at least ½-inch (1¼ cm) between each cookie.

Pack together and re-roll out any scraps to cut additional cookies. Repeat with this process with each remaining ¼ of the dough.

Bake in a preheated oven for 15 minutes. If baking multiple trays at the same time, be sure to rotate the pans in the oven halfway through. Remove and transfer cookies to a cooling rack to cool completely.

To make the filling, combine ½ cup (115 grams) butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla in a medium mixing bowl. Beat together until light and fluffy.

Assemble the cookies by spreading a generous scoop of the icing onto one of the cookies and sandwiching it with another. Give it a light squeeze and scrape any excess off to clear and even out the sides.

This classic cookies and cream ice cream is made with homemade Oreos for maximum crunch and flavor.   Its packed with chunks of delicious, chocolatey cookies and creamy vanilla ice cream.  Served on its own or in a ice cream cone, its sure to become a family favorite!

Cookies and cream ice cream

Approx. 35 (265 gramsms) unfilled homemade Oreos (*or store brough Oreos)

(250 milliliterss) full fat milk (3.5%)

(500 milliliterss) thickened cream (*or heavy cream

(120 gramsms) white or castor sugar

vanilla essence

(15 gramsms) glucose syrup (*optional. Or light corn syrup

Pour the milk and cream into a pot.

Add the tapioca starch to a small bowl and add about two tablespoons of the cream and milk mix.  Mix well to make a thin slurry.

Add the sugar and glucose syrup to the pot and mix well over a medium heat untill mix just starts to bubble.

Reduce heat to low, add tapioca slurry and stir well.  Continue to cook for another couple of minutes, then remove from heat.

Add vanilla essence and stir well.

Transfer mix to a heat proof container, cover and chill in fridge for at least four hours.

While the ice cream base is chilling chop you your Oreo cookies.

To get a range of textures in your ice cream you need to cut up the cookies into two separate batches and freeze them while the ice cream base is chilling.

For batch one, take half the cookies and cut into quarters.  Put into an airtight container and freeze.

For batch two, take the other half of the cookies and cut into finer pieces.  You can give them a bash in a mortal and pestle or with a rolling pin if needed.  Put into an airtight container and freeze.

Put your ice cream storage container into the freezer to chill.

If using a self refrigerating ice cream machine turn it on for about ten minutes to chill before churing the ice cream.

Remove the ice cream base from the fridge, give it a stir if you need to and pour into ice cream machine to churn.  When the ice cream thickens up and has almost finnished churning add the smaller cookie pieces.

Allow ice cream to finishe churning.

Take your ice cream storage container and the larger cookie pieces out of the freezer.

Working quickly put about a third of the larger pieces on the bottom of the container.  Put half the churned ice cream on top.

Put another third of the larger cookie pieces, followed by the rest of the churned ice cream.

Add the last of the large cookie pieces and pat down briefly to put them into the ice cream.

Cover and freeze for at least four hours, or untill firm.

To serve remove from the freezer, scoop and enjoy!  Fabulous on its own, or with some extra cookies crumbled over the top.  Delicious!

Bomb Sous Vide Oreo Cheesecake

Set sous vide machine at 80C/176F.

In food processor or mixer, combine cream cheese, sugar, salt, eggs and vanilla. Mix until ingredients are combined and cream cheese is softened. Scrape down sides, add in buttermilk and mix again until ingredients evenly incorporated. Fold in crushed oreo cookies and stir well.

Pour an equal amount of cheesecake filling in each canning jar, and screw on the lid of each jar (see note). Gently submerge the entire jars in the bath using rubber tongs, and set a timer for an hour and a half.

Remove from bath and let rest on counter top for 30 minutes to cool. Once cooled, transfer the cheesecake to the refrigerator for a minimum of 6 hours to set the filling. When ready to serve, garnish with the oreo crust (recipe below) and your favorite toppings. Now enjoy these heavenly treats straight from the jar!

Preparing the Cheesecake

Preheat oven to 163/325F.

In a food processor, pulse oreos until finely crushed. Slowly pour in melted butter to mixture while pulsing. Alternatively use a bag to crush the oreos then stir in the butter by hand if you don&#x27;t have a food processor!

Spread mixture in an even layer on a lined cookie sheet. Bake for 15 minutes, stirring halfway through.

Remove crust mixture from oven, and set aside to cool.

Preparing the Crust

These are fudgey on the bottom, gooey in the middle and crunchy on top. It is a whole lot of awesomeness!

Gooey Chocolate Oreo Crunch Butter Cake

oreos (divided (I used double stuffed))

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Lightly grease a 13 by 9-inch baking pan.

In a large bowl or bowl of a stand mixer, combine the flour, sugar, baking soda, baking powder, salt, melted butter and egg. Stir until well blended and then mix in the milk. (This can also be done by hand). Pat the mixture into a prepared pan and set aside.

In a stand mixer, or with a hand mixer, beat the cream cheese until smooth. Add the remaining 2 eggs, and the cocoa powder. Lower the speed of the mixer, and add the powdered sugar. Continue beating until ingredients are well mixed. Slowly add the remaining 1 stick of melted butter, and the vanilla, continuing to beat the mixture until smooth. Spread the filling over the cake mixture in the pan. Press 18 whole Oreos into the filling (the filling will begin to spill over the oreos, but it probably will not completely cover the oreos). Bake for 40 to 50 minutes. Be careful not to overcook the cake. The center should still be a little giggly when finished baking. Let sit five minutes.

While the cake is sitting chop the remaining Oreos into pieces and melt the chocolate chips and peanut butter together (I use the microwave, stirring every 30 seconds until melted).

Once you melted the peanut butter and chocolate, evenly the distribute the chopped Oreos all over the top of the cake. Pour the melted chocolate mixture over top, spreading with a spatula. Make sure chocolate gets down into the Oreo crevices, as it is the “glue” that holds the top to the bottom (do the best you can, but the chocolate will probably not reach all the way to the very edge of the cake). Refrigerate for 2 hours before serving.

Let bars sit at room temperature for 15 minutes before cutting. Try and cut them carfully, but beware that the tops might crack a little.

Small-batch OREO Cookie Loaf

applesauce ((120 g))

egg egg

maple syrup ((42 g))

almond flour ((56 g) sub regular flour)

flour ((60 g) gf all purpose if desired)

cocoa powder ((24 g))

tsp baking powder

tbsp (vegan) cream cheese, softened ((28 g))

maple syrup ((7 g))

Preheat oven to 350F and line your pan with parchment/liners.

Whisk together cream cheese and 1 tsp maple syrup, set aside.

Mix egg, applesauce, maple syrup, cocoa powder until smooth.

Whisk together flour, almond flour, baking powder, pinch salt.

Combine the two via folding, do not overmix.

Transfer 2/3 batter into loaf pan, pour on the cream cheese swirl, spread on the rest of the batter.

Sprinkle with crushed Oreos (optional).

Bake 40-45 minutes until knife comes out clean (20 ish minutes for muffins).

Cool completely before slicing.  Enjoy!!
