These easy bites are perfect for literally any occasion. We love their little pretzel handles, but feel free to leave them out! ﻿ If preparing them the night before, refrigerate until 1 hour before serving, then remove from fridge and let come to room temperature. 

Cheese Ball Bites

bacon

(8-oz.) blocks cream cheese, softened

c. shredded cheddar

garlic powder

paprika

Kosher salt

black pepper

pecans

pretzels sticks

I have made these twice. Everyone loved them. Make sure to add the pretzels just before serving. Otherwise they get soggy   I used 12oz cream cheese

I have made this in a large cheeseball version but with 2 packages of cream cheese,  allot more garlic (fresh), and half a package of ranch dip mix mixed in. Sooooo good and never any leftovers. Depending on how many people are going to be at your event I would recommend doubling the recipes because it goes like wildfire.

Mine turned out exactly like the picture.  They were just awful.  The entire platter of them - minus some random bites - went into the garbage at end of night.  Pretty disappointing.

Tasty but the recipe leaves 1/2 of an 8oz block of cream cheese unused. Use two 8 oz blocks and l increase the shredded cheddar to 2 cups (white sharp preferred as the paprika adds enough color). I also mixed in finely chopped green onion and dried cranberries into the cheese mix before rolling into balls to add extra flavor to the cheese. Chopped dried cranberries are too gooey to add to the rolling mixture. Even before the increase in cheese, the recipe makes way more that 18 balls. Unless you are serving a football team, roll them into 1” size balls, plenty for 3-4 crackers each.  Enjoy!

This Cheese Log Is The Perfect Holiday Appetizer

This healthy vegan queso dip features real, whole ingredients to keep it gluten free and plant based: you'll find yourself addicted.

Vegan Queso Dip

cashews,

garlic

shallot

jalapeños

nutritional yeast

turmeric

jalapeños juice (from the jar)

salt

chipotle powder

water

chickpea flour

Cilantro,

In a high-speed blender, blend the cashews, garlic, shallot, jalapeños, yeast, turmeric, jalapeño juice, salt, and chipotle powder; set aside.

In a small saucepan, whisk together the water and chickpea flour until no lumps remain. Turn the heat to medium and continue whisking every few seconds to prevent scorching. Whisk for roughly 6 to 7 minutes, until the mixture thickens and resembles a roux or melted cheese. Remove from the heat and carefully scrape into the blender with the other ingredients.

Blend the ingredients on high for 1 minute, stopping to scrape down the sides of the blender, until smooth and creamy. Taste and adjust seasoning, adding more chipotle, salt, turmeric, or yeast if desired.

Use a rubber spatula to scrape the dip into a serving bowl, and top with cilantro. Serve immediately while hot, or let dip cool a bit (dip will continue to thicken as it cools). Leftovers can be refrigerated in a resealable container and can be eaten cold or reheated on the stove.

I made these meatballs today and they were AMAZING! Wish I'd doubled the recipe. I did modify it a bit. I added 1/4 cup diced onion to the meatballs. I didn't have catsup so I substituted a 15oz can tomatoe sauce & 1/4 cup brown sugar. Also added 6oz. more DP for saucier meatballs. Delicious! :-)

This was good! I added extra egg as others pointed out, and instead of 2 sodas, i used 1/2 can + 1 1/2 spoons of grape jelly to compensate for sugars and speed hack the reduction time for simmering. Served over cold canned corn. Was a big hit with the kids!

4 stars, really good & a hit every time I've made them!  And I had a request for them at another event.  But there is a lot of sauce, 8-10 minutes not enough to reduce by 1/2.  And if you cook down 1st w/soda & ketchup they splat badly.  Everywhere.  So now I cook the soda alone to reduce almost to a syrup, then the rest & then simmer w/ meatballs 1/2 hour.  Yes they are sweet.

I bet the sauce would be good on meatloaf as well.

Took these for a potluck and they were a big hit.

I would suggest adding one more egg to the meatballs and little less breadcrumbs and maybe a half recipe for the sauce.

Tried it unfortunately my meatballs didn’t stay together well but they taste good to me lol allot of extra sauce it didn’t thicken well ad to add corn starch..:: and added some sugar to the sauce

These Meatballs Have A Crazy Secret Ingredient

Do you like slider recipes of all kinds? Why not try these bun-less BLT egg sliders? These easy appetizers are not only delicious, but also filling and they only take minutes to put together.

BLT Egg Sliders

Small Hard Boiled Eggs

Mustard, see note 1

Strips Bacon, cooked, see note 2

Tomatoes, sliced, see note 3

Cut each hard-boiled egg in half. Take one...

Cut each hard-boiled egg in half. Take one half, turn it over and cut some of the white off so that when you turn it back over, it will stand nicely. This will be the bottom half. Make sure not to do this with the other half (out of 12 halves, you will need to prep 6 only).

Now, sprinkle each egg yolk with salt and...

Now, sprinkle each egg yolk with salt and black pepper and spread some mustard over. Top the bottom halves with a strip of bacon, a slice of tomato, a piece of lettuce and cover with the other egg half. Secure with a toothpick or cocktail stick.

Sprinkle some more black pepper over as well...

This mushroom tart with caramelized onions and thyme is one of my favorite puff pastry appetizers. It&#x27;s a quick and easy brunch recipe!

Mushroom Tart with Caramelized Onions and Thyme

extra virgin olive oil

onions

mushrooms

thyme

balsamic vinegar

puff pastry (defrosted but kept cool)

Heat the olive oil in a large sauté pan over medium heat. Add the onions and stir continuously until softened, about 8 to 10 minutes. Sprinkle in the salt, add the sliced mushrooms and continue stirring until the mushrooms release their moisture and the pan becomes more and more dry. When this happens, add half of the thyme and the balsamic vinegar and reduce the heat to medium low. Cook the veggies, stirring occasionally, until caramelized and golden, for about 20 to 25 minutes or so. Remove from the heat and set aside.

Preheat the oven to 350°F. Adjust the oven rack to the center position.

Unfold the sheet/s of defrosted puff pastry on a parchment-lined baking sheet. I used 2 so that my tart would be a little larger and just attached the puff pastry dough; you can just use 1 sheet if desired. Fold all the edges over to create the pretty border around your tart. Top the center of the rolled out puff pastry evenly with the onion, mushrooms, thyme mixture.

Bake the tart for about 25 to 35 minutes, until the pastry is golden brown and flaky. When there is about 3 to 5 minutes left, if you are adding the cheese, sprinkle on the freshly grated cheese and continue baking for the remaining time. Remove it from the oven, sprinkle the remaining thyme over the top, and let it cool for about 10 minutes before slicing and serving.

These homemade cheese spring rolls are loaded with crab and creamy cheese and deep fried for extra crispiness. A great bite sized party snack or appetizer.

Crab and Cheese Spring Rolls

spring roll wrappers

imitation crab meat ((chopped

g cream cheese ((soften))

rice vinegar

sugar

garlic ((finely minced))

Leave the cream cheese in room temperature for an hour to soften

Once the cream cheese is soft, mix in the mozzarella, mayonnaise, Worcestershire sauce, rice vinegar and sugar

Chop or shred the crab meat and mix it into the cheese mixture

Mince the garlic and finely chop the green onions and add it into the cheese mixture

Preparation

Carefully peel 1 sheet at a time, place the sheet in front o you with a corner facing you. (Place a damn cloth or paper towel over the stack of spring roll papers to prevent it from drying out while you are rolling out the spring rolls)

Add a few spoonfuls of crab and cheese mixture near the bottom of the paper (but away from all edges) into a log shape.

Start rolling from the bottom, then take 1 side from the left or right and fold it into the center while rolling.

Then take the other side on the left or right side and fold it into the center and continue to roll

Wet the top corner with water or egg (which will be the glue to seal the spring roll) and keep rolling until all the paper is sealed.

Put aside covered with a damp cloth or paper towel and continue making the rest of the spring rolls

Heat up the oil to 350F (176C), and fry them for 4-5 minutes or until golden brown.

f you are deep frying these on a stove top in a pot, use medium heat and keep a close eye on them, when they turn golden brown pull them out. They still continue to cook after they have been pulled out of the oil.

Hot Reuben Dip

(8-oz.) block cream cheese,

c. Russian (or Thousand Island) dressing

c. shredded Swiss cheese, divided

c. chopped corned beef, divided

c. sauerkraut, drained

Bagel chips,

Preheat oven to 350°. In a medium bowl, stir together cream cheese and Russian dressing until combined, then fold in 1 cup of Swiss, almost all the corned beef, and sauerkraut and season with pepper.

Transfer dip to a small baking dish and top with remaining 1/4 cup Swiss and corned beef. Bake until golden and bubbly, 18 to 20 minutes.

Garnish with parsley and serve with bagel chips.

This garlic herb white bean dip is a delicious and healthy dip recipe that everyone will love! It's a unique alternative to hummus.

To serve: carrots, celery, veggies, crackers, bread, pita, pita chips, homemade crackers, or crostini

Peel the garlic. Remove any tough stems from the herbs; measure out 1/2 cup (remember with rosemary, a little goes a long way). Drain and rinse the white beans.

In the bowl of a food processor, add garlic and herbs and process until finely chopped.

Add the white beans, olive oil, white wine vinegar, kosher salt, and black pepper. Process until smooth, scraping down the bowl as necessary. Store in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.

Super Bowl Appetizers: Deviled Ham Dip (+More Great Recipes!)

Use a food processor to grind the cubed cooked ham down to a finer consistency. Pulse until the ham reaches a dry ground ham appearance (but not so much that it turns to a paste).

Transfer the ham to a large mixing bowl and add the mayonnaise, yellow mustard, hot pepper sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, ground black pepper, paprika, and celery salt. *Add optional ingredients if desired.

Mix until well combined then cover with plastic cling film and refrigerate to chill before serving.
