Step 1
Place candy canes in a ziploc bag. Using a mallet, gently crush candy into smaller pieces.
Step 2
Place 4 large squares of candy melt in a microwave safe bowl and heat on high for 60 seconds. Remove from microwave and stir.
Step 3
Microwave in 15 second intervals, stirring between each interval, until chocolate is smooth.
Step 4
Once chocolate is smooth, add peppermint extract and stir until incorporated.
Step 5
Dip one half of the marshmallow in chocolate; place the chocolate side up on a parchment paper lined sheet pan.
Step 6
Sprinkle with crushed peppermint bits while chocolate is still wet. Repeat with marshmallows and chocolate.
Step 7
Store in an airtight container.
