Great recipe, especially with the added seasoning. Some sliced black olives on the top is yummy as well

Agree with Gold Controller and the comments that this recipe is awesome, but needs a bit more. 

I made sure to squeeze ALL the lemon juice, added a few fresh cloves of garlic, and some dried oregano, subbed dried dill (and added a bit more than the amount called for). 

That was enough to make this a<strong> crowdpleaser</strong>. I served this as one of several dips at a superbowl party, and this was one only one that was finished by the end of the night! So delicious.

I served with pita chips, and people also liked to take tomatoes, cucumbers, yellow peppers and carrots from the veggie tray nearby to eat with this dip, which is a great, more healthy option!

I did not have a hand-mixer, so I used a fork to beat this...it took longer than listed in the recipe, and was a bit more tiring, but still achieved a great, smooth whipped texture as mentioned.

You really need to “jazz” up this recipie in order to get a true authentic taste. In short, SEASON THIS DIP. 

Add some oregano, garlic (powder or cloves), onion (powder or whole red onion), pepper, and maybe a dash of thyme. Use sea salt if you have it on hand. 

If you plan on bringing this dip to some sort of event or pot luck, I suggest reducing the amount of olive oil just incase people are picky about it. Using the full amount gives plenty of the olive oil flavor, but in my experiences, not too many people who don’t cook with it or eat with it on a regular basis aren’t exactly fans of the taste. 

Overall, the recipie is a great base for a refreshing appetizer. But people, please season your food. Greeks enjoy their seasonings and use them generously. And I say that from personal experience.

I added Greek salad dressing mix to spice it up a bit as recommended and it really made a difference!

I made this for my New Years party and it was a BIG HIT! Everyone loved it. I didn’t have lemon and dill, but I added garlic salt with parsley and it was so delicious. Yum! Two thumbs up!

made it as-is tonight (half recipe), and I may add kalamata olives and minced pickled peperoncini peppers, but it’s bright and tasty with the lemon zest.

I added kalamata olives ad garlic powder. It was just ok.

Tart Cream Cheese Crepe Filling

oz full fat cream cheese (softened)

C sugar

C full fat sour cream

vanilla

Beat the cream cheese then add everything else and blend! &nbsp;Keep extra&nbsp;refrigerated&nbsp;and it will last a few more days!

It's so easy to make homemade crepes at home without a special pan. They are great for breakfast, brunch or dinner! You can make savory or sweet crepes and they are always a hit!

CREPES
3 C whole milk
6 eggs
4 Tbsp butter melted
1 tsp vanilla
2 1/2 C all-purpose flour
4 Tbsp granulated sugar
pinch of salt
Put everything into a blender and mix until smooth. Refrigerate the batter for an hour to let the bubbles settle and the batter with thicken a bit.
heat a large flat skillet on med high and once it's hot pout 3-4 Tbsp of batter, QUICKLY tilt the pan in a circle to cover the bottom. I cook it for about 40 seconds on each side. Use a spatula to loosen the edge and flip the crepe. It depends on how hot your pan is. I LIKE it cooking fast, I can get through the batch faster that way...
serve right away, or let the crepes cool, stack, refrigerate and serve the next day!

SWEET CREPE FILLING
16 oz full fat cream cheese softened
1 1/2 C powdered sugar
2/3 C full fat sour cream
1 tsp vanilla
Beat the cream cheese until smooth
add everything else and blend!  
Keep extra refrigerated

BUTTERMILK SYRUP
1 C buttermilk
1 C butter
2 C granulated sugar
1 Tbsp light corn syrup
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp baking soda
Combine the buttermilk, butter, sugar and syrup in a LARGE sauce pan.
Bring the mixture to a boil on medium heat and boil for 5 mins, stirring constantly.
Remove it from the heat and continue stirring and add the vanilla and baking soda (the mixture will get HUGE when you add the soda, just keep stirring and it will go back down).
serve warm, keep refrigerated.

FRESH WHIPPED CREAM
1 C whipped cream
1/2 C powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla
beat until stiff peaks

Easy Crepe recipe - Unicorn Rainbow Crepes - LIVE

Cream cheese dip is always a crowd favorite! It&#x27;s super creamy, cheesy, and perfect with any dippers you may be serving, from chips to veggies!

Cream Cheese Dip

cream cheese (softened)

sour cream

salsa

taco seasoning

sharp cheddar cheese (or Mexican cheese blend, finely shredded)

green onions (sliced)

jalapenos (finely chopped and drained (optional))

Mix cream cheese, sour cream, taco seasoning and salsa with a hand mixer until fluffy.

Fold in cheddar, onions and jalapenos if adding.

Refrigerate 1 hour before serving.

CARAMELIZED ONION DIP is the ultimate super easy appetizer to make for game day! This amazing sour cream and bacon dip is made in minutes and loved by all. It's filled with so much flavor, and so many delicious ingredients, like bacon, sour cream, onions, and chives.

Caramelized Onion Bacon Dip

olive oil

bacon (uncooked and chopped)

onion (finely chopped)

sour cream (I love Oberweis Cultured Sour Cream)

chives

cheddar cheese

salt and pepper

chips veggies

Heat a medium skillet over medium high heat. Add the oil and chopped bacon into the skillet and cook until crispy, about 6-8 minutes. Use a slotted spoon to remove bacon from the skillet and place on a paper towel to drain.

Add the chopped onion into the skillet with the bacon grease and caramelize for about 10 minutes, or until fully browned and translucent. Remove onion from the skillet and allow to drain/cool.

In a medium bowl, stir together the sour cream, bacon, onion, chives, shredded cheese, and salt and pepper.

Allow to sit in the fridge in an airtight container for at least an hour to fully chill and for flavors to all blend together.

Serve with chips or chopped veggies.

ok, for those wondering how to actually do this..
I used 2 fresh diced jalapenos with the seeds removed. add about 1 tbsp of the mixture to the wonton and wrap around it. use a little water to keep the folds together.

Very good! I got the recipe from the actual cook book, which calls for 2 jalapeños finely chopped.

Rating it a 1 because the written recipe is not only incomplete but COMPLETELY different than the video. It has no jalepenos and the video has dough, not wonton wrappers. Maybe post the correct recipe and video next time.

I made these out of the cookbook and they are tasty. Not quite as spicy as I hoped so I may serve with hot sauce. The photos on this post are of a similar recipe using crescent rolls. The photos in the cookbook are more accurate. Overall will make again.

I wanted to call this Horseradish Cheese Dip, but when I showed my mom the recipe she said nobody would eat it if I called it that. Pft! So she named it Scrumptious Cream Cheese Dip instead.

Blend all ingredients together until smooth, then let sit for at least an hour in the fridge.

Y'all will love this cream cheese dip with sausage and Ro-tel. There are a lot of cream cheese dip recipes out there and this is one of my favorites. The recipe only calls for three ingredients. It's easy to make, delicious to eat, and you'll be the hit of the party.

This Crockpot Sausage Cream Cheese Dip is my mother in law Betty&#39;s famous invention! This easy sausage dip recipe is filled with sausage, cream cheese, and rotel tomatoes, and it&#39;s so creamy and cheesy! It&#39;s the best dip for holidays, game day, or any party. With only 3 ingredients and packed with flavor, this slow cooker rotel sausage dip is one heck of an addictive party dip!

Crock Pot Sausage Cream Cheese Dip

breakfast sausage (1 regular and 1 HOT work well-Jimmy Dean’s)

cream cheese

(around 20 ounces Rotel-like tomatoes with juice)

limes (optional)

Spray a slow-cooker with nonstick spray and set the temperature to LOW.

Add the tomatoes, their juices, cream cheese and lime juice (if using) to the slow-cooker. Mix well and place the lid on top.

In a large skillet, set over medium heat, cook the sausage until browned. Drain the sausage and add it to the cheese/tomato mixture; mix well and replace the lid.

Heat until the cheese has melted, stirring every 15 minutes; about 1 hour. Once the cheese has melted, set the slow-cooker to warm and stir about every 30 minutes.

Serve with Tostitos, your favorite crackers and/or your favorite sliced vegetables.

This cheddar bacon cream cheese dip can be eaten hot or cold. This cream cheese dip recipe is made with cream cheese, Greek yogurt, spices, bacon, and loads of cheese!

Cheddar Bacon Cream Cheese Dip

plain Greek yogurt

shredded yellow cheddar cheese ((~2 cups), divided)

bacon (6-8 slices)

Place the cream cheese and Greek yogurt into a bowl. Using a hand mixer whip together at medium/high speed.

Add the seasonings and mix to combine.

Next, add 1 cup of cheddar cheese, bacon, and green onion. Mix together using a rubber spatula.

Place in a serving dish and top with remaining cheddar cheese.

To eat cold: refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.

To eat hot: bake at 350ºF for 30 minutes in an oven safe dish.
