Three ingredients are all you need to make these simple, yet delicious, Cinnamon Sugar Puff Pastry Pinwheels. When you want something sweet, but not overly sweet, these crisp little pinwheels are the answer. If you always keep some puff pastry in the freezer, as I strongly recommend, you will have them ready in a very short time.

Cinnamon Sugar Puff Pastry Pinwheels

butter puff pastry (See Notes 1, 2 and 3)

tsp ground cinnamon (See Note 4)

tbsp sugar (See Note 5)

Line a baking tray with baking paper.Remove the pastry from the freezer and defrost.Preheat oven to 200 degrees C (400 F).

Mix your sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl.

Place your pastry on the baking tray, and top with the cinnamon sugar.

Slowly start to roll the pastry from the end nearest you. Keep rolling forward, reasonably firmly, until you have come to the end of the roll.Cover in cling film and chill the pastry roll for about 30 minutes.

Trim the ends with a serrated knife and discard.Slice each pinwheel approximately 1cm/1/2 &quot; thick.

Place your pinwheels on the prepared baking tray. Bake for 12 minutes, or until golden brown.

Serve warm, or allow to chill completely before storing in a sealed container.

In a large bowl, mix together the softened cream cheese and the ranch dressing mix until evenly combined.

Then add the pimentos, green chilis, black olives, green onions, yellow pepper, and cheddar cheese. Stir gently until they evenly distributed in the cream cheese.

Divide the cream cheese mixture on the four tortillas. Then, using a spatula, spread the mixture on each tortilla in an even layer. Keep the mixture a 1/2 inch from the edge.

Roll up the tortillas. Set them on a plate and cover it with plastic wrap. Chill in the refrigerator for about 2 hours or until firm. Then using a serrated knife, cut the tortillas into 1/2-inch slices.

Stack in layers to form a "tree." Garnish with cherry tomato "ornaments" and a yellow pepper "star." Serve with salsa.

These Buffalo Chicken Pinwheels are a hot twist on classic deli pinwheel sandwiches! Packed with carrots, celery, provolone cheese, and buffalo flavored cream cheese, these pinwheels are a wonderful cold lunch meal prep idea!

burrito size tortilla or Flat Outs Flatbread (pictured!)

Frank’s Red Hot Sauce (plus for more topping)

chicken breast

provolone cheese

carrot,

rib of celery,

Mix cream cheese

In a small bowl, add cream cheese and Frank&#8217;s Red Hot Sauce (1 ounce cream cheese &amp; 1 teaspoon hot sauce per pinwheel). Use a fork to stir until well-mixed and no lumps of cream cheese remain.

Spread cream cheese

Lay your flatbread or tortilla on a cutting board or other clean surface. Spread your buffalo cream cheese on first, being sure to cover the ENTIRE tortilla surface.

Assemble pinwheel

Next, arrange your deli meat slices flat on the tortilla, covering about 2/3 of the surface. Leave about 1/3 of the tortilla covered with cream cheese only. Add a slice of cheese if you want, then add your celery and carrot sticks to the middle of the flatbread forming a line from edge to edge.

Roll the pinwheel

Begin rolling the pinwheel from the meat covered side, using both hands and rolling tightly. The veggies may try to escape, but just use your fingers to tuck them in as you roll.

Meal prep &amp; serve

Cut the roll up into 5 pieces, and arrange in your meal prep container. Portion some berries, nuts or pretzels in to complete the meal! I recommend serving with additional buffalo sauce. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator and enjoy within 2-3 days. The outside may become soft depending on what type of tortilla or wrap you have used. Meal prep &amp; enjoy based on your preference &#8211; if you don&#8217;t want the wraps soft at all, meal prep the night before you plan to eat.

6 Ingredient Stuffed Flank Steak Rolls (Pinwheels)

Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.&nbsp;Cover the steak with plastic wrap or wax paper and pound it thin but not too thin or you may make holes.&nbsp;Butterfly the steak and season both sides with the parsley, salt and pepper. FYI, Martha Stewart has a great post on how to butterfly meat. Trust me, it's super easy to do!

Add salt and pepper to a bowl with the dried parsley. Give it a good mix and then use it to season the front and the back of the steak. You can also use fresh parsley if you like.&nbsp;

Sprinkle the cheese over the beef leaving 1 inch&nbsp; border along the edge.&nbsp; Grate the lemon zest over the cheese. Tear the spinach up into pieces. Place it into a bowl. Add a pinch of salt then mix to combine. Add the spinach on top of the lemon zest and cheese.

Starting from the end closest to you, began rolling up tightly. Tie pinwheels with kitchen twine, toothpicks or skewers to keep them from falling apart.&nbsp;With a sharp knife slice the beef between the twine. You should have about 6-7  pinwheels.

Add vegetable oil to a cast iron skillet over medium high heat.&nbsp; Once hot add the stuffed flank steaks and brown each side for about 2-3 minutes then pop them into the oven for about 5-10 minutes.&nbsp;&nbsp;

Temperature of the beef rolls are done when the meat thermometer reads 125 for rare and 160 is well done. I usually cook mine until the temp reads 150.&nbsp;&nbsp;

Preheat oven to 375F degrees. Butterfly Steak by slicing horizontally across and pounding. Season with salt and pepper. Set aside.

Heat 2 tablespoons oil to a small saucepan over medium-high heat. Add onion and cook for 2-3 minutes or until tender and almost golden. Add the garlic and sautee for another minute. Remove from and stir in cream cheese until fully combined. Season with salt and pepper.

Spread the cream cheese mixture on the steak, then layer the spinach and cheese. Roll up steak and tie with kitchen twine or pierce with toothpicks or short kabob skewers&nbsp;to keep the roll intact. Using a sharp knife, slice roll between pieces of toothpicks or twine. Season pinwheels lightly with salt and black pepper.

Heat a large heavy-duty pan to medium-high heat. Add the steak pinwheels and sear for 2-3 minutes per side. Transfer to a baking dish or place the entire pan in the oven if it is oven safe, and bake for 10 minutes. Remove from oven, tent with aluminum foil and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Delicious! My family was impressed. Every oven is different and I had to bake mine longer. We had no swiss so i used cheddar. The dijon.fresh parsley .Cheddar cheese and buttery flavors were great.

I made this recipe and my family loved it. Thinking about making it tonight. I didn't use Swiss cheese or the poppy seeds. I didn't have any problems with it being soggy though.

Way too many adjustments needed. Too much ham, too much cheese, too much butter, not enough baking time. Waste of time and expensive ingredients.

I read what several other said about these being soggy so I only used 6 slices of cheese (1-1/2 slices per roll), 3 super thin slices Virginia ham per roll and very little butter/garlic mixture. I also cut each roll into 4.  Baked on a 9 x 13 baking sheet with space between each.  They turned out just fine.  Would make them again if my family likes them.

I cooked them for 20 minutes and they never got crispy mmm mushy just how NO ONE LIKES THEM

I made these today and left out the dijon mustard and only added parsley and poppy seeds to some of the rolls since I have a very picky 11 year old. I also noticed that they were not ready at 15 mins. So I left them in for about 15 more mins. and that did the trick. I did leave a small space in between the rolls, they were pretty tasty.

What would be the best way to reheat refrigerated leftovers? I don't like using the microwave to reheat ham. It dries out. 

Should I pop them back in the oven at the same temp. they baked in for a few minutes?

Just made these last night, shared with a neighbor......wonderful.....but didn't use poppy seeds, and used TWO cookie sheets, so they were spread out better, came out really crisp. Will make these again!! HINT: use quality swiss and ham

Hi it’s delicious looking and I’m going to try it and I hope it taste real good with a glass of wine with a bunch of friends in the afternoon between lunch and shopping and getting together and enjoying the day Irene

These were tasty, but 350 degrees won’t bake them in 12-15 minutes. I had to leave them in the oven for several minutes longer in order for them to get golden and not mushy. I will try 375 next time. Flavor was great, but I agree with previous reviews that you don’t need 4 T. butter. Could easily get by with 2. I’m giving them 4 stars because of the wrong baking temp.

An easy, fun and tasty appetizer or meal, these Taco Pinwheels use an array of Mexican inspired flavors to create a crispy, meaty, cheesy treat

Preheat the oven to 375F degrees. Spray a baking sheet with nonstick cooking spray and set aside.

Place the beef into a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook and crumble meat until brown. Drain excess grease from the meat then place meat back into the skillet.

Add in the minced garlic, chili powder, salt, pepper, cumin, onion powder, dried oregano, paprika and undrained Rotel. Then stir and mix everything well. Cook for 3-4 minutes, take it off the heat and set it aside.

Unroll the thawed puff pastry on a flat surface. Roll or press it into a large rectangle (about 18 inches long). Set the rectangle so that the long edge is parallel with the edge of the counter.

Spread the meat mixture evenly all over the dough then sprinkle the shredded cheese evenly over the top.

Starting at the long edge (closest to you), begin to roll up the dough (cinnamon roll style). Roll it up tightly and seal the edge all along the roll.

Use a serrated knife to cut the roll evenly into one-inch slices. (If the knife gets the filling on it, wipe it with a wet paper towel in-between cuts.)

Place the taco pinwheels on the prepared baking sheet, leaving a little space between them.

Bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until the pinwheels are golden brown.

These are best served hot. Serve with garnishes of your choice.

Package Puff Pastry Sheets (there should be two)

Tablespoons [Homemade Taco Seasoning]

Water

Large Tomato (chopped)

Cups Mexican or Cheddar Cheese (shredded)

Cilantro

Guacamole (Sour Cream, ranch, salsa for serving)

Preheat the oven to 375.

Allow the puff pastry to defrost on the counter with a towel over it.

In a pan over medium high heat, add the ground beef and cook until almost completely browned. Drain any fat and add the taco seasoning and water, stirring to combine. Bring the mixture to a simmer over medium heat and allow to cook for another 2-3 minutes or until thickened slightly. Remove from heat.

Sprinkle a little flour on the counter and roll the puff pastry in a rectangle. Repeat with the second sheet.

Spread the meat mixture over the top and sprinkle with tomatoes, then cheese. Starting with the small end, tightly roll into a log and seal the seam.

Using a serrated knife, slice into pinwheels and arrange on a lined baking sheet.

Bake at 375 for 10 minutes.

Remove and cool for a minute before arranging on a platter with guacamole, salsa, etc for dipping or garnish them as you'd like before serving.
