In a large pot of boiling salted water cook the fettuccine al dente.

in a medium pan add 1/2 the butter, 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese and 1/2 a ladle of hot pasta water. On low medium heat, whisk together to make a cream.

Add the drained pasta, another 1/2 ladle of hot pasta water, the remaining butter and parmesan cheese, gently toss together on low heat (for about 1 minute) and serve immediately, sprinkle with parmesan cheese and black pepper.&nbsp; Enjoy!

Lighter Fettuccine Alfredo Recipe

(140 grams) grated Parmigiano Reggiano cheese,

(30 milliliters) heavy cream

(3 grams) cornstarch

(30 milliliters) extra-virgin olive oil,

lemon

salt and black pepper

garlic (about 1 medium clove)

unsalted butter

Combine cheese, heavy cream, egg, cornstarch, olive oil, and lemon zest (if using) in a large bowl. Season lightly with salt and heavily with black pepper and whisk to combine. Set aside.

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil over high heat. Add pasta and cook, stirring frequently to prevent sticking, until cooked but still very firm (not quite al dente), about 45 seconds for fresh pasta or 1 minute less than package directions indicate for dried pasta. Drain pasta into a colander set over a large bowl. Transfer 2 cups (480ml) of cooking water to a liquid measuring cup and discard the rest. Transfer pasta to the now-empty bowl. Add garlic and butter and toss to coat.

Whisking constantly, slowly add 1 1/2 cups of pasta cooking water to bowl with cheese mixture. Transfer cheese mixture to the now-empty pasta cooking pot, scraping the bottom to make sure you get everything. Cook over medium-high heat, stirring constantly with a rubber spatula, until mixture comes to a boil and thickens, about 45 seconds. Season sauce to taste with more salt and pepper as desired. Transfer pasta to sauce mixture and turn to coat. Just before serving, stir in more pasta water to thin sauce out as necessary. Serve immediately, sprinkled with minced herbs, black pepper, and cheese, and drizzled with additional olive oil.

Quick and Easy Fettuccine Alfredo for One

Bring a medium pot of salted water to a boil and cook fettuccine according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

When your pasta is nearly finished cooking, in a small pot, melt butter. Stir in half and half/milk/cream, garlic powder, optional dried parsley, salt, pepper, and cayenne. Heat until steaming, just before it&#039;s ready to simmer. Turn heat to low and stir in parmesan.

Continue to stir over low heat until parmesan is completely melted into the sauce. Taste and add more salt and pepper if needed.

Pour sauce over drained fettuccine noodles and toss. Allow the pasta to sit for 5 minutes to cool and sauce to thicken slightly.

Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and enjoy!

In a large pot, heat water over high heat until boiling. Add salt to season the water. Once it is boiling, add fettuccine and cook according to package instructions.&nbsp;

In a large skillet or pan, heat butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook for 1 to 2 minutes. Stir in heavy cream.&nbsp;

Let heavy cream reduce and cook for 5 to 8 minutes.&nbsp;Add half of the parmesan cheese to the mixture and whisk well until smooth. Keep over heat and whisk well until cheese is melted.

Save some pasta water. The pasta water is full of flavor and can be used to thin out the sauce.

Toss alfredo sauce with fettuccine pasta and add half of the parmesan cheese. Once it is tossed, garnish with the remaining parmesan cheese. Add a little pasta water if it needs to be thinned out.

Garnish with Italian parsley, if so desired.

In a small bowl, combine all spices for the cajun seasoning and mix together. Set aside. Store any extra in an airtight container for future use.

In a heavy bottom pot (such as a Dutch oven), heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat.

Add the sliced chicken and 2½ tablespoons of the prepared cajun seasoning.

Add the andouille sausage and cook until the chicken is no longer pink, about 4-5 minutes.

Remove the meat from the pot and add the remaining olive oil.

Add the garlic, diced peppers and onions and cook until the onions are transparent and softened, about 5 minutes.

Add the milk and stir so that the seasoning is incorporated into the liquid.

Turn the heat to high and bring to a boil.

Add the uncooked fettuccine, stirring constantly until the noodles are al dente, about 10 minutes.

On low heat, add the meat back in and stir so that it’s evenly incorporated.

Wow!!! This was absolutely delicious. My whole family loved it and we will definitely be maki g this again!!! We've never had steak fettuccine before, don't ask why lol. Made some small changes, added heavy cream instead of milk and added sun dried tomatoes instead of tomatoe halves and it came out perfect.

I made this last night; followed the recipe exactly.  So flavorful and the family absolutely loved it.  I will be making this again and again!

I read that the sauce had no flavor so I found a different Alfredo sauce to make and then added the tomatoes and spinach like it calls for and it was amazing! I also put onion powder on the steak with the salt and pepper and the dish came out with Lots of flavor! Super easy!

Made this as written but didn’t have balsamic. It was good but lacked something - the balsamic glaze probably. But If you don’t have It, I would add red pepper flakes to this while making sauce.

Very good! Would probably do chicken instead of steak next time, just a better combo. I added a little more milk than called for because I’m always scared of my pasta getting dried out. Turned out great!

So I had to do a few substitutions, and improvise with what I have here without going to the store. Overall it’s so good and my boys loved it age 5 & 3 so hiFive.  T-Bone steak , store bought grated Parmesan, spaghetti , dried parsley , jar minced garlic . Balsamic glaze was amazing I mixed brown sugar instead of white sugar. Man, this was satisfying for sure, thank you.

Fry the bacon in a large saucepan or pot over medium-high heat until crispy.

Add the chicken and sauté until cooked through. Add the garlic and fry until fragrant (about 2 minutes). Season with, salt and pepper.

Pour in the milk, stir, and bring the milk to a gentle simmer. Reduce heat immediately and add the pasta.

Stir occasionally for 5-6 minutes, or until the pasta just begins to bend and soften. Add in the broccoli, stir and cover with a lid. Continue to cook, while stirring occasionally, until the pasta is cooked and al dente (about another 7 minutes).

Stir through the Parmesan cheese and mix until the cheese has melted through the sauce. The sauce will continue to thicken if not served immediately. Add more milk if needed.
