We blended some of our favorite organic whole grains for a pancake mix that is full of nutrients yet light and fluffy, just like a pancake should be. We use a fine mill of Turkey Red wheat; Red Fife wheat; Oat; Rye; Buckwheat; and Wild Rice Flours; as well as flaxseed meal. The wild rice is paddy rice, not cultivated, and comes directly from Minnesota natural stand wild rice. Many of our customers with a gluten intolerance find this blend to be more digestible. Use the recipe below, or add in an egg or mashed banana for a creamy, sweet version.

7-Grain Heritage Pancakes

Cup 7-Grain Heritage Pancake Mix

Cup Milk

tbsp Melted Butter

Using a whisk, mix 7-Grain Heritage Pancake Mix and milk in a large bowl.

Slowly mix in butter or oil. If you like a thinner pancake, add more milk.

Let rest for five minutes. Meanwhile, warm a large skillet over medium heat.

Once batter has rested, ladle pancake mix onto hot skillet, in increments of ¼ cup to ½ cup at a time.

Flip pancakes once bubbles begin to form, or when the bottom turns golden brown. Heat for another minute or two.

Top with butter; maple syrup; honey; fruit; or nuts.

Break the Yom Kippur fast with a fast and delicious Mediterranean Jack omelet. It is ready in just a few minutes to satisfy hungry tummies.

This classic combo of eggs and avocado is perfect for a spicy brunch or cheeky late-night supper. Or, spice up your eggs a litle more with this vegetable-packed Turkish menemen with sumac yogurt.

One-pan chilli eggs with guacamole

4-6 large free-range eggs

olive oil

bread,

For the guacamole

avocados

garlic clove, crushed

fresh coriander, leaves

1-2 limes

½ red onion, very finely chopped

To make the guacamole, halve the avocados, remove the stones and scoop out the flesh with a spoon. Put in a bowl and mash roughly with a fork, adding a pinch of sea salt. Mix in the rest of the ingredients, then taste and adjust the seasoning. Cover with cling film (see make ahead), then chill until needed.

When ready to eat, heat the sunflower oil in a large frying pan over a high heat. Crack in the eggs, then fry so the bottoms of the whites go crisp but the yolks stay runny.

In a small bowl, combine the olive oil with the chilli and some salt and pepper. Once the eggs are cooked to your liking, drizzle them with the oil and put the pan on the table. Serve with the guacamole, and toast for scooping.

Creamed Chipped Beef over toast

oz butter

1.25 oz AP Flour

1.5 oz evaporated milk

beef stock

tsp black pepper (or

parsley (chopped)

salt

Soak the chipped beef for a few minutes in warm water.  Drain and cut into small strips.

Prepare the chipped beef

in a skillet add the butter and on a medium/low heat melt.  Add the flour and stir often so as not to burn.  After 5 minutes of cooking add the evaporated milk and beef stock.  Whisk vigorously so lumps do not form.  Once you have a smooth consistency, add the black pepper and the chipped beef.

Stir well to incorporate the beef.  Add the parsley and taste for seasoning.

If you find the gravy too thick add a little beef stock till you get to the desired consistency.

Serve over buttery toast.  Enjoy

For the gravy

Start by cooking your ground beef or pork in a skillet breaking the ground meat up into small pieces.

Next add the butter and the flour.  Cook for 5 minutes.

Add the evaporated milk and beef stock and stir well till a smooth gravy forms.

Add the pepper and parsley and taste for additional spices.

Serve over butter toast.

Make 4 pieces of each cheese slice and keep on a plate.

Apply butter to pav/white rolls and roast them on medium heat (inner side down) till golden brown.

Flip them over and place cheese pieces and cook for another minute. Then keep aside.

Add butter, onions, green chillies, salt and mix well.

Break 2 eggs and sprinkle salt, onions, red chilli flakes, cheddar cheese and cilantro.

Cover and cook on low heat till egg white is just done.

Remove the lid, loosen edges and place the eggs on pav/white rolls.

Egg white should be completely cooked and egg yolk should be runny.

If you do not prefer runny yolk, cook eggs a bit longer till yolk is completely cooked.

Make these creamy mustard mushrooms on toast for a quick and healthy vegetarian breakfast, served with a light cream cheese sauce and a sprinkling of chives

Creamy mushrooms on toast

wholemeal bread

½ tbsp light cream cheese

tsp rapeseed oil

3handfuls sliced, small flat mushrooms

tbsp skimmed milk

¼ tsp wholegrain mustard

tbsp snipped chives

Toast the bread, then spread with a little of the cream cheese.

Meanwhile, heat the oil in a non-stick pan and cook the mushrooms, stirring frequently, until softened. Spoon in the milk, remaining cheese and the mustard. Stir well until coated. Tip onto the toast and top with chives.

Korean street toast is packed with egg, cabbage, carrot, ham, and cheese between slices of buttery toasted bread. It makes an easy breakfast sandwich.

Beat eggs in a large mixing bowl and add the shredded cabbage, carrot, green onion, and a pinch of salt; mix well.

Melt 1 tablespoon of butter on a skillet over medium low heat. Spoon in a portion of egg and vegetable mixture, and spread it around to about the size of your sandwich bread. (You can make two egg pieces at a time)

Cook the egg omelette 2-3 minutes on one side and flip. Cook until golden brown. Transfer the omelette to a plate and repeat the next batch.

Heat ham slices briefly, about 30-60 seconds; set aside.

Melt remaining tablespoon of butter and toast the sandwich bread until golden and crisp.

Put a piece of egg omelet on the toast. Sprinkle about 2 teaspoon of sugar (or however much you desire), and squirt some ketchup on top. Place a slice of ham and a cheese on top and top with the another toasted bread.

If you like your toast crunchier, add shredded cabbage between the layers of the condiments and ham.

To assemble the toast

1. Whisk together the eggs and a pinch of salt in a medium bowl.2. Melt 1 tablespoon butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the eggs and cook, undisturbed, until a thin layer of cooked egg appears around the edge of the skillet. Using a rubber spatula gently push/move the eggs around the skillet until fluffy and barely set, about 2 minutes. Immediately remove from the skillet and sprinkle with crushed red pepper flakes.&nbsp;3.&nbsp;Spread the outside of each slice of bread with butter. On the inside of half of the slices of bread, evenly layer the cheeses, eggs, and pesto. Add the top piece of bread, buttered side facing up.3. Place the sandwiches, one at a time, in the skillet and cook until golden on each side, about 4-5 minutes per side.&nbsp;Serve topped with chives, honey, and sea salt.&nbsp;

These budget-friendly bad boys are made with crispy, homemade tortilla chips soaked in a flavorful red enchilada sauce and served with loads of toppings.

Line a sheet pan or large plate with paper towels. Stack 8 corn tortillas and cut them into quarters.

In a large skillet set over medium heat, warm the cooking oil until shimmering. Add two layers of tortilla quarters at a time and fry, turning as needed, until lightly browned and slightly crunchy, about 1 minute on each side. Transfer the tortilla quarters to the paper towel-lined plate to drain. Repeat with the remaining tortilla quarters.

Warm the red enchilada sauce* in a large saucepan.

Divide tortilla chips between two large plates. Divide the warm sauce equally, drizzling it over the tortilla chips on each plate.

Sprinkle each plate equally with the shredded Oaxaca cheese, crumbled queso fresco, fresh cilantro leaves, sliced green onions, diced avocado, and Mexican crema. Enjoy the ridiculously yummy contrasting flavors, textures, and temperatures immediately!

How to poach eggs

Blueberry Overnight Oats

Blend all ingredients except for the oats and optional blueberries for garnish in a blender.

Add mixture to oats in a jar or a container with a lid.

Place in the refrigerator overnight or for at least 6 hours. Optionally serve topped with fresh blueberries.

Prep ahead to enjoy this low-carb, gluten-free Korean Cabbage Omelet in just minutes, any day of the week.

Korean Cabbage Omelet

green cabbage

green onions, thinly sliced (whites and greens divided)

eggs,

carrots

tsp umami seasoning blend

garlic powder

tbsp mayo (we used aquafaba mayo)

tsp sugar-free ketchup (we used paleo ketchup)

tsp coconut aminos

tsp chili garlic sauce

Combine all sauce ingredients in a small bowl and set aside.

Prep vegetables then heat an 8&#8243; or 9&#8243; nonstick skillet over low to medium-low heat with a cover. While pan is heating, add eggs, water, umami seasoning, salt, and garlic powder to a medium bowl and beat together. Add cabbage, onion whites, and carrots and toss to coat. Add the oil to the heated pan, then add the mixture in an even layer. Replace cover and cook until lightly golden on the bottom, 2-3 minutes. Use lower heat for a smaller pan since the omelet will be thicker.

Carefully slide the omelet (uncooked side up) onto a large plate, cover with the skillet, and flip. This ensures the omelet will not break apart while flipping. Top with shredded cheese, return to burner, cover, and cook until lightly golden on the bottom, firm throughout, and cheese is melted on top.

Once fully cooked, fold the omelet in half, then cut in half crosswise to form two equal servings. Transfer to plates and serve immediately, topped with onion greens, and with sauce on the side or drizzled on top.

These air fryer eggs are quick, easy and healthy!  The air fryer method is great for busy mornings, college students, and more.  Make soft boiled eggs or hard boiled eggs.  This helpful guide will walk you through each step!

Air Fryer Eggs

First, place the 4 eggs in the basket of your air fryer.  Leave some space between each egg.

Air fry for 10 minutes at 300 degrees Fahrenheit for soft boiled eggs.  Air fry for 14 minutes for hard boiled eggs.

Once the eggs are almost done, prepare an ice bath.  Place ice cubes in a bowl.  Fill with cold water until almost full.

Once the eggs are done, use a spoon to carefully remove them from the air fryer.  Place in the ice bath for 3 to 4 minutes.

Finally, peel the eggs.  Serve or store in the fridge.

This breakfast is the perfect brain food for when you have a challenging day ahead, plus it's super easy to make. 

Each serving provides 605kcal, 33g protein, 17g carbohydrate (of which 2g sugars), 44g fat (of which 21g saturates), 2g fibre and 3g salt.
