Smoked queso dip kicks regular cheese dip a big notch with tons of flavor. This recipe features a silky smooth cheese base, spicy jalapeno and sausage and delicious smoky flavor from cooking. 

Smoked Queso Dip

lb sausage

jalapeno (seeded & diced, optional)

oz block Velveeta cheese (cubed)

tomatoes

tbsp minced garlic

Add all of the ingredients to a (disposable) 9x13&quot; aluminum pan.

Smoke at 250 degrees for 2 hours. Stir the queso 1/2 way through cooking.

Use pot holders to carefully remove the pan from the smoker.

Stir the dip a final time until everything&#039;s smooth and evenly combined.

Serve immediately, with chips for dipping.

(8-oz.) block cream cheese, softened

mayonnaise

c. shredded Monterey Jack, divided

c. Parmesan

(14-oz.) can artichoke hearts,

garlic,

lump crabmeat

green onions, thinly sliced

black pepper

tbsp. Freshly chopped parsley, for garnish

I used Old Bay seasoning in mine which helped. With some pepper jack cheese  And a dash of hot sauce.  It helps to use really good ingredients, full fat, not store brand.

Basic recipe. Used Cajun season and soaked the crab in soy. On top to melt..used a great feta cheese. Make it your own..unlimited possibilities.

This was really bland.  My company didn't even eat it.  Fortunately, I only cooked half of it and was able to salvage the other half with a small can of green chilies, a tsp. of tobasco sauce, 1/4 tsp. cayenne and some chopped tomatoes.  Ahhh ... much begtter.

Very easy to put together and a great successful appetizer. I will be making this again for a party and also Christmas Eve.

Needs lemon. Watch the salt as all the ingredients already have salt in them. I liked it better cold the next day.

Delicious and attractive.  I used a Royal Worcester baking dish, and counted it as one of the "Seven Fishes" on Christmas Eve.

Pesto Hummus

chickpeas (1.15)

lemon juice (0.18)

olive oil (0.48)

tahini (0.85)

basil pesto (1.33)

Drain the chickpeas and add them to a food processor along with the rest of the ingredients.

Process the ingredients until smooth, adding a little water, olive oil, or drained liquid from the chickpeas to thin out the mixture if needed.

Garnish with a few whole chickpeas, a drizzle of olive oil, or a dollop of pesto, if desired.

Oh I wish I'd had this recipe last weekend. I ended up purchasing a dip from our local supermarket, which I hate to do. I'll have to pin this for next time.

best chip dip ever! was watching tv and craving it. i haven't had it since the 80's! can't wait until i can get the ingredients. just yummy...

Although I made a single small batch due to a late night craving-this was Delish! I didn’t measure the ingredients, kind of eye balled! I also added hot sauce for a slight kick and voila!! So good!

I just did this in a smaller scale but used basil leaves and garlic powder instead of the parsley, dill and garlic salt. If mine was that good I can only imagine how good this one is!

7 Layer Fiesta Dip 

(16 ounces) refried beans

container (16 ounces) sour cream

McCormick® Taco Seasoning Mix

(8 ounces) shredded Cheddar cheese (2 cups)

guacamole

green onions

black olives

BLT Dip is an easy to make crowd pleaser. Make this last minute dip any time you are entertaining and watch it disappear!

BLT Dip

bacon (diced and cooked until crisp)

cream cheese (softened)

sour cream ((I used reduced fat))

mayonnaise ((I used light))

onion powder

garlic powder

tomato (seeds removed and diced (see note))

green onions (sliced thin)

cheddar cheese (shredded)

Romain lettuce (chopped)

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.

Cook the diced bacon until crisp. Use a slotted spoon to remove from the skillet, transfer to a paper towel lined plate, and set aside.

In a large bowl, use a hand held mixter to beat together the cream cheese, sour cream, and mayonnaise. Add the onion powder and garlic powder and beat in.

Reserve about 1/4 cup of bacon and set aside. Reserve about 1/4 cup of diced tomatos and set aside.

Stir the rest of the bacon, the rest of the tomoatoes, all of the shredded cheese and all of the green onions into the cream cheese mixture.

Transfer the mixture to a 2 quart baking dish and bake for 25 minutes.

Top with the reserved bacon, tomatoes, and diced lettuce. Serve with chips or crackers.

Dill Dip Recipe

1 lb round loaf of rye bread (plus additional

mayonnaise ((236 milliliters))

sour cream (one 16 oz container) ((475 milliliters))

salt

Prepare your rye bread bowl by cutting ⅓ off the top of ONE loaf. Cut into bite-sized pieces. Reserve. 

Scoop out the inside of the bread and tear the bread that you remove into bite sized pieces.

Cut the remaining 2 loaves of rye bread into bite sized pieces and reserve those as well.&nbsp;Keep with your other bread pieces. If not serving immediately, store in an airtight container at room temperature to keep fresh.

Prepare your dip by combining mayo, sour cream, dill weed, seasoned salt, and minced onion in a large bowl.&nbsp;

Stir well until thoroughly combined.&nbsp;

Store in the refrigerator in an airtight container until ready to serve.&nbsp;

Once ready to serve, pour dill dip into prepared bread bowl and serve with bread pieces and any other dippers, as desired. Enjoy!

Grate the cooked carrot &ndash; don&rsquo;t worry if it turns to mush, this is what you want.

Tip the hummus into a bowl, add the carrot and mix well.

Add a squeeze of lemon juice, but mind you don&rsquo;t squirt it in your eyes.

Snip the coriander into little pieces using scissors and stir it into the hummus. Serve with the toasted pitta bread.

Preheat the oven to 450°F with a rack in the upper third of the oven. Line a large, rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper. Slice the eggplants lengthwise and brush the cut sides lightly with olive oil. Place them cut side down in the pan.

Roast until the interior is very tender and the skin is loose, about 35 minutes. Turn oven to broil and char skin for that smokey flavor, 6-8 minutes. Let rest 5 minutes to cool.

Scoop the flesh out of each eggplant, discarding the skins, and place in a colander or sieve over a bowl to drain for 1 hour.

Place drained eggplant in either a bowl to mix by hand, or a food processor to mix. Add the garlic, lemon juice, tahini, salt and cumin and mix well. If slightly bitter add more salt to taste.

Serve in a shallow bowl with a drizzle of the olive oil and topped with the pomegranate and herbs. Perfect to eat with vegetables and pita for dipping.
