Chili Dog Tater Tot Casserole is a twist on a family favorite recipe. Chili, cheese, hot dogs, tater tots....need I say more?!?!

Chili Dog Tater Tot Casserole

beef

(15 ounces) can chili beans

(15 tomato sauce

dogs

chili powder

garlic powder and onion powder

red pepper flakes (optional)

cheddar cheese (divided)

(32 ounces) package tater tots

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Lightly grease a 9x13 baking dish, set aside.

CHILI: Brown ground beef until no longer pink. Drain completely. Add in chili beans, tomato sauce, hot dogs and seasonings. Stir to combine.

ASSEMBLY: Spoon chili into prepared dish. Sprinkle chopped onions on top then sprinkle 2 cups cheddar on top. Arrange tater tots on top of the cheddar (the whole package may not be used). Bake for 30 minutes. Remove and sprinkle with the remaining cheese. Return to oven for 3-5 minutes just to melt the cheese.

Pre-heat your oven to 350 °F.

In a large skillet, fry the onion in the oil until it is soft and translucent. Add in the ground beef, fry until completely cooked through. Drain the fat, mix the garlic. Fry until golden, around 2-3 minutes, then add some salt and pepper to taste and transfer to a 9x13 baking pan or oven safe pan of equivalent size.

Combine the vegetables and the soup. Pour over top of the hamburger. Sprinkle the cheese on top evenly.

Place the tater tots in an even layer on top of the soup mixture.

Bake in the oven for 50-60 minutes or until the tater tots on top are crispy and browned. Remove from the oven and serve.&nbsp;

Dairy Free Tater Tot Casserole (Gluten Free)

Place the olive oil in a large skillet and heat over medium/low heat.

While the pan is heating up, chop your zucchini and bell pepper.

Add the zucchini, mushrooms, bell pepper, and creole seasoning to the pan and cook over medium or medium/low heat for about 10 minutes until veggies begin to soften.

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.

Add the ground beef, black pepper, garlic and onion powders to the veggies in the skillet and cook over medium heat until the meat is cooked through (about 10 minutes). The vegetables will be cooked and soft at this point as well.

Whisk the cornstarch into the coconut milk and pour into the meat and veggie mixture and cook for a couple minutes until thickened, stirring constantly to prevent sticking. This will thicken almost immediately or within 1-2 minutes.

Turn off the heat and scoop the creamy meat and veggie mixture into a 9x13-inch glass pan.

Sprinkle the package of dairy free cheese on top of the beef mixture, and then top with the tater tots or hash brown potatoes.

Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes.

Allow the casserole to cool for about 10 minutes before serving. Top with sliced green onions or chives as a garnish.

Cut the head of cauliflower in half, remove the stem, and chop into small pieces. Set aside.

Heat the oil in a large cast-iron skillet over medium heat.  Add the garlic and onion and cook until fragrant, about 2 minutes.

Add the corn, carrots, black beans, and 2 cups (600 g) of cauliflower and cook, stirring often, for another 3 minutes, until the corn starts to brown around the edges.

Add the flour, chili powder, and salt and stir until the vegetables are evenly coated.

Add the milk and diced tomatoes and cook, stirring constantly, until thickened, about 3 minutes.

Add the mozzarella cheese and stir until melted.

Turn off the heat and arrange the tater tots on top of the vegetable mixture.

center cut bacon (chopped)

oz mini tater tots (I used Ore-Ida brand, weighed frozen)

Preheat the oven to 350F.

Chop the bacon into bite-sized pieces.  Dice pepper and onion.

Add the bacon to a frying pan, and sauté over medium high heat for about 10 minutes.

The pieces will start to be crispy, but some will still be partially uncooked.

Add the diced pepper and onion to the pan (do not drain the bacon fat).

Cook the pepper and onion with the bacon pieces in the bacon fat for another 5 minutes.

Spray the bottom and sides of a 9x13 casserole dish with non-stick spray.

Add the cooked pepper, onion and bacon mixture to the bottom of the casserole dish, and spread it out on the bottom to cover the entire area.

Meanwhile, in a mixing bowl, combine the eggs, egg whites, yogurt, garlic powder, and kosher salt.

Whisk the mixture together to get rid of any clumps, and add 1 cup of the cheese (reserve 1/4 cup for the top) and the chopped scallions.

Pour the egg mixture evenly over the bacon, pepper and onion mixture.

Add the still-frozen tater tots to the top of the casserole, covering the entire surface area.

Add the remaining cheese on top.

Bake for 35-40 minutes or until the egg is set up.

To reheat from the fridge: microwave to warm through (the tater tots might still be crispy this way) and then use the air fryer, toaster or oven to get it crispy again if needed.

In a large skillet brown ground beef over medium high heat until fully cooked and no pink remains and drain any fat

Add flour and stir to coat all beef evenly with flour

Slowly add broth while continuing to stir to ensure no lumps form from flour

Add seasonings and bring mixture up to a slow boil and then reduce to a simmer

Let simmer for about 5-7 minutes until broth thickens to coat the spoon

Stir in the cream and continue to simmer for another 3-5 minutes to let everything thicken to the texture of cream soup

Add veggies and stir to combine evenly

Spray slow cooker with nonstick spray

Add meat mixture

Top with tater tots and cheese

Cover and cook on high for 3-4 hours or low for 6-8

10 Ounce Can Cream of Mushroom or Chicken Soup

Cups Shredded Cheddar Cheese, (Divided)

15.2 Ounce Can Corn, (Drained)

14.5 Ounce Can Green Beans, (Drained)

Preheat oven to 350°F.  Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish with non-stick cooking spray and set aside.

In a large skillet brown the ground beef along with the onion, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce until the beef is no longer pink.  Draine grease if necessary.

In a large bowl mix together the beef mixture with the sour cream, both cans of soup, corn, green beans, and 1 cup of the shredded cheese.

Spread the beef and soup mixture into the prepared pan.  Top with an even layer of tater tots and bake in the preheated oven for 50 minutes, until tater tots are brown and the casserole is bubbling.

Top the casserole with the remaining shredded cheese and bake for 5 minutes longer until cheese is melted.
