Fully Loaded Keto Breakfast Parfait

Step One: Portion the Greek Yogurt, Heavy Cream and Nut Butter

Grab four separate containers of your choice and line them up in a prep area. In a bowl mix the Greek yogurt and heavy cream until fully incorporated. Portion 1/2 cup of Greek yogurt mix in each container and press down with a spatula, flattening the surface of the yogurt. Next, add 1.5 tablespoons of almond butter (or nut butter of choice), in the middle as a dollop, or vertically across the container. You are about to make an Instagram worthy keto breakfast parfait. 

Step Two: Portion Remaining Ingredients

Next, add 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract to each container, 1/8 cup of your preferred choice of berry mix (I love raspberries and blueberries) around the container.Top with 1/4 teaspoon of coconut flakes, 1 tablespoon of sliced pecans, and finish with 1/4 teaspoon of coconut flakes. Garnish by gently sprinkling cacao powder on top of the parfait and by adding fresh picked mint leaves.

Think of this recipe as your blueprint for cooking frittata-like breakfast items. Cook for a crowd and impress your friends at weekend brunch or to make your weekly meal prep super simple!

Keto Sheet Pan Eggs & Sausage Recipe

eggs, whole, cracked

egg whites

milk, full fat

coconut oil

caraway seeds

Avocado, quartered, sliced lengthwise

ricotta cheese, crumbled

Preheat oven to 350 F. Crack eggs directly into a blender or bowl (crack eggs into a bowl if you are using an immersion blender. Otherwise do this in the blender). Add the egg whites, milk, coconut oil, and season with salt, pepper, and caraway seeds. Blend for 10-20 seconds, avoiding over blending, until all ingredients are emulsified as one.

Liberally spray the bottom of the sheet pan with spray oil. Add parchment paper or foil on top, covering the entire length and width of the pan, and spray liberally a second time.

Slice the sausage links into half-moons and keep aside in a bowl until needed. Pour the egg mix into the pan carefully. Add sliced sausages by spreading around the pan as evenly as possible. Transfer pan carefully into the middle rack oven and bake for 30 minutes. Set a timer and rotate halfway through.

After 30 minutes, test the eggs by sticking a fork, toothpick, or cake tester in the middle of the pan and removing it. If eggs are fully set and none stick to your poking-tool of choice, the sheet pan eggs are done. Otherwise, add 2-4 minutes at a time. Remove from oven and cool on the side (set the pan on top of oven mitts or cooling racks to avoid cracking/burning the surface of your countertop). 

Portion into 8-6.5 oz/188g squares and transfer to a container. You may need a spatula to get the squares off the sheet pan.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Place the Butcher Box ground beef in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the garlic, onions, burger seasoning, and salt and pepper to taste.. Using a spatula, break the ground beef into chunks.&nbsp;

Add the&nbsp;worcestershire sauce&nbsp;and cream cheese. Cook until the ground beef is no longer pink and the cream cheese has melted.

Remove the skillet from heat.

In a medium bowl,&nbsp;combine the eggs,&nbsp; 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese, 1/2 cup shredded white cheddar cheese, heavy cream, and mustard.

Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the cheese begins to bubble. Mine was ready around 17.

Cool before serving.

lb Breakfast Sausage

oz Cream Cheese

Heavy Cream

Almond Flour

tbsp COLD Butter

Egg Whites

Salt

garlic powder

tsp chili powder

In a medium saucepan over medium heat, cook the Sausage. Set aside.

To the same saucepan add in the cream cheese, heavy cream and bring up the heat as you whisk the mixture. About 5 minutes.

Add the sausage to the gravy and continue to whisk for 2-3 minutes until the Sausage Gravy is thickened.

Add broth to thin it out.
For the biscuits:

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees and line or grease a muffin pan.

In a medium bowl, combine the almond flour and baking powder. 

Add in the salt, garlic powder, and chili powder and combine well. 

Add in the cold butter and cut it into the mixture using two knives or pastry cutter. The mixture should have a crumbly consistency. 

Meanwhile, whisk the egg whites until they are fluffy. This is an important step to making the biscuits light and airy. 

Gently fold in the egg whites into the flour mixture. 

Using a cookie scoop, scoop in the biscuit mixture into 8 muffin slots. 

Bake for 10-15  minutes or until biscuits starts to get golden brown on top. 

To make the sausage gravy:

This turned out amazing! Very impressed how good this was.

This tastes exactly like the real thing, wow. The sausage crazy was thick and the biscuits were flaky and perfect. Definitely making this again soon.

This recipe is very good, except for the TBSP of salt in the sausage gravy mix. I think that's a typo? It was very salty. But if that's changed it tastes great!

This is THE BEST biscuits and gravy recipe EVER!! I've made it three times now and it doesn't stay in the house more than 24 hours. The gravy is so creamy but does require a thickener (guar gum or xanthan gum) as I like thick gravy. I failed on the making biscuits but that was on me and not the recipe. They turned out as crumbles but everyone said they liked the crumbles better than a biscuit anyways so it was a win all around.

This was delicious! I skipped the chili powder in the biscuits and added some sage to the gravy.  I didn’t add the chicken broth and the gravy was still very creamy.  The biscuits were perfect but the key is the whipped egg whites.

Biscuits are very good, I will use less garlic  powder next time. The gravy was too cheesy from the cream cheese for us. Reminded us of alfredo sauce

This was absolutely wonderful! I’ve been keto for more than ten years and this is a great recipe! Excellent biscuit, light and crispy on the outside!  I didn’t use the chili powder, but that’s merely out of preference and I added a hefty amount of garlic powder to my gravy... again, preference!  Made for dinner tonight and I will definitely be making it again!!  I believe this is the first recipe of yours that I’ve tried, looking forward to more!   Keep up the good work!

Just made this for breakfast and it was wonderful. It really hit the spot for a hearty, guilt-free breakfast and was a nice break from our bacon and egg breakfast routine!

Delicious. The biscuit turned out great. The only thing I might change is using half the amount of garlic for this  particular recipe. But it I made the biscuits on their own I would keep the garlic. If you added more herbs and cheddar, they reminded me of red lobsters cheddar bay biscuits. Yummy. Oh the possibilities. Also the gravy was a little too salty. But that could be due to my own ingredients. Since there was salt in my chicken stock and my sausage, I think next time i will either not add more salt or use lower sodium ingredients.  Thank you for this recipe, it definitely helps staying on Keto when there is recipes like this out there.

This recipe was amaxung!!! I was very leery but decided to give it try. So glad I did!! Biscuits were best keto bread item I have had and entire family loved the gravy even non ketoers. How much is each serving per person? I see in the pictures on the plate are 3 muffins (not sure of weight of the sauce) .I’m trying to ensure my husband and I eat the appropriate amount to stick to a certain calorie intake.

This the biscuits and gravy turned out well! The gravy really pulls through with this recipe. And the biscuits aren’t overly crumbly. However the biscuits are too salty. I’ll add less seasoning the next time I make it, so it can better fit my personal tastes. Other than that, I really like this recipe! Thank you!

Absolutely delicious! My only comment would be that it was painfully salty and gave me headaches afterwards, but then again I can be sensitive to salt. I think the next time I make it will be without the added salt since the ingredients themselves should contain enough sodium. Definitely a recipe I've been sharing  and recommending to everyone who wants a nice comforting (breakfast) meal.

OMG this is sooooo good.  But since I've made it a few times, I have made some changes,  I omit the pepper flakes and garlic from the biscuits ( just my preference) . Instead of putting them in a tin, I use my silicon mat and shape them into biscuits, its works great !  For the gravy, I use an enamel cast iron skillet, that way the sausage bits stick to the pan- makes a better gravy !!   I add tons more heavy cream ( so I have leftovers)  and sage and garlic powder (preference again) . I found that when you boil heavy cream, it thickens naturally- no need for thickeners.  I freeze the gravy into portions- that way I can have it throughout the week.....Thanks so much for this recipe- you rock !!!

For those who want to know if the gravy freezes-YES.  I just took mine out of the freezer ( I put them in mason jars) and it was great.  Since. I'm single, I can't eat all that I make.  I added some more heavy cream and  and  some more cream cheese while I was reheating it (cause I LOVE the gravy) and just made fresh biscuits---it rocks !!!!

I must’ve made a few critical errors. My biscuits are dense and didn’t rise well (perhaps I didn’t  whisk the eggs long enough?) and I had to add more cream and cream cheese because it originally looked like white sausage. I’ll definitely have to try it a few more times to get it right!

OMG!! This recipe is AWESOME!!!  We come from a long line of biscuit and gravy eaters and this recipe was so much better than the original. I left out the salt totally in the gravy used half and half instead of cream, doubled the gravy ingredients and made the biscuits exact to your recipe.  I got an “Excellent” all around.  we are intermittent fosters so this was our dinner and I put a side of  green beans with it , which went great.. Thank you for coming up with this!!!

I didn't try the biscuit recipe because I have a lot of carbquik, so I just used that.  But the gravy was really amazing!  I used turkey sausage and the flavor was amazing.  10/10 would make it again.

I added xanthan gum. Subtracted the everything. Was more like bread. Would make a great hamburger bun as well. Thanks.

These were perfect just the way the recipe reads! They came out a little flat so if you want them fluffy you should refrigerate the dough a little while before baking.

Easy to make, delicious!! I skipped the hole in the middle to make a roll rather than bagel shape.

I had to substitute coconut flour for almond flour. I added an extra egg and little more cream cheese but they are delish😍

Great recipe! So easy to make. I had to substitute cheddar for mozzarella because I was working on a wim with what I had in the house. I'm sure the texture was affected but they're still good and the cheddar flavor is awesome. I also boiled mine after forming and before adding the everything seasoning. My son makes regular wheat flour bagels and he boils them.

This is an absolute family favorite! I make a double batch and divide it (by weight) into 18 bagels. I freeze them on trays and then put in a large ziplock bag. Although they don’t last long! A couple of tips. Have a bowl of cold water nearby to dip your fingers in. It is VERY sticky! Also, for an extra “kick”, I put a shallow bowl with “Everything but the Bagel” seasoning in it. I take a portion of dough, shape it into a ball and roll one side in the seasoning. I put that side down on the parchment paper and stretch it out. Then follow with egg wash and seasoning on top.
My favorite breakfast ... one of these topped with cream cheese, capers and sliced lox. 😊😋😋

I made this tonight and also added Xanthan gum to ensure texture and bread stick and hold. It worked so well! Even made lox because I couldn’t wait for tomorrow morning!

I turned these into low carb pizzas... we love them so much. We now have these at least once a week if not more. My kids love them too.

These are delicious. I want to know if the texture I got is right though. Mine is more like the mozzarella texture. Is that right or should I expect something else? Thanks.
