Preheat the air fryer for about 2-3 minutes at 400F degrees. This will give you the crispiest potatoes.&nbsp;

Meanwhile, toss the potatoes with breakfast potato seasoning and oil until thoroughly coated.&nbsp;

Spray the air fryer basket with a nonstick spray. Add the potatoes and cook for about 15 minutes, stopping and shaking the basket 2-3 times throughout to promote even cooking.

Cut your potatoes to the desired size. There is no need to peel them unless you prefer that.

Combine the potatoes, olive oil, and seasonings in a mixing bowl, tossing to coat.

Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees F for 2 minutes.

Spray the inside of the air fryer with olive oil and add potatoes. Cook for 15 minutes and then shake the basket to mix the potatoes around.

Cook for an additional 10-15 minutes or until they have reached your desired level of crispy.

Cut the potatoes lengthwise into 1/4 inch thin slices; then cut each slice into 1/4- inch fries. (A mandolin is also helpful here).

Spray the potatoes generously with oil.

In batches, place the potatoes in the basket in an even layer without overlapping or crowding, air fry 380F about 7-8 minutes on each side, until golden and crisp.

Meanwhile, in a large bowl combine chili powder, garlic powder, paprika and salt; mix in Parmesan cheese and mix well.

When the fries are done, add to the bowl and toss to coat.

Set Air Fryer temperature to 400 F. Depending on the thickness of your fries you will need to vary the cooking time.

If your Air Fryer is a model that needs to preheat, preheat to 400 degrees. It should only take about 5 minutes to be ready.

Prepare Potatoes

Scrub potatoes and dry well. Dice into 1/2 inch to 3/4 inch cubes.

Season

In a large mixing bowl, toss the potatoes with the oil and seasonings to coat evenly.

Air Fry

Spread the cubed potatoes out evenly in the basket or trays of the air fryer. Cook for 10 minutes at 400 degrees and remove the basket and give the potatoes a good shake so that they evenly cook. Return the basket to the air fryer and cook for an additional 10 minutes, or until golden and crispy.

Modification

If your Air Fryer uses a tray and not a basket, there is no need to stop the cooking process to shake the potatoes. Instead roast for 18-22 minutes at 400 degrees.

How to Make Crispy Air Fryer Potatoes - Sweet and Savory Meals

Crispy air fryer potatoes are quick to make and a perfect side for any meal! Crisp outside and tender middle, potatoes never tasted so good!

Add the potatoes, avocado oil, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a large bowl. Toss to coat the potatoes. 

Transfer the potatoes to the tray or basket of the air fryer and spread them out in a single layer. 

Air fry for 15 minutes, tossing the potatoes or shaking the tray or basket halfway through the cooking. 

Transfer the potatoes to a plate, sprinkle with chopped sage and serve with ketchup (optional).

These are great! A super simple, quick side dish. I’ve made them multiple times and have even started having them requested with dinner.

One of the fastest and easiest ways to make delicious crispy potatoes is in your air fryer.

5-6 medium potatoes (see notes)

oil spray (or 1 tsp olive oil

potato seasoning mix

Wash the potatoes and cut them unpeeled into approximately 2 inch chunks. Wash the cut potatoes again or better yet soak them in cold water for 10-20 minutes if time allows. Then drain and dry them thoroughly with a kitchen towel. There should be no moisture left on the surface of your potatoes.

Spray them with an oil spray all over, shake and spray again until evenly coated, then season with salt and your favourite seasoning mix. Put your seasoned potatoes into the basket of an air fryer, select the Air Fry option and cook for 10 minutes. Then take the basket out, shake the potatoes very well, spray again and cook for 8-10 minutes longer until the potatoes are golden on the outside and cooked all the way through.

These Air Fryer Baked Potatoes have the perfect crispy skin and fluffy on the inside! The EASIEST baked potato you will ever make and is perfect for meal prepping.

Air Fryer Baked Potatoes

russet potatoes, (washed, and dried)

Wash and dry the potatoes.

Add the potatoes to a medium-sized bowl, add the oil. Rub the oil onto the potatoes. Add salt and rub the salt all over the potatoes, turning to evenly coat.

Set the air fryer to 390°F and 40 minutes. At the 35 minute mark, you can test to see if the potatoes are done by piercing the potato with a fork. If the fork slides in easily, it&#039;s done, if not, bake for another 5 minutes. Times will vary on air fryer models.

Remove the potatoes and serve as desired.

Crispy Air Fryer Potato Wedges

lbs russet potatoes (small (roughly 3-4 potatoes))

Cut potatoes- Search for small to medium-sized russet potatoes for this recipe, and avoid any large or long ones. Place potato on the cutting board, then cut in half. Place each half cut side down, and cut in half again. Finally, cut each quarter on an angle to create 8 potato wedges from a potato.

Soak

Soak potatoes- Place potato wedges in a bowl of cold water and allow to sit for 15-30 minutes. Soaking potatoes helps remove starches from the surface of the potatoes, but in my experiments, also seems to infuse the insides with moisture, preventing them from drying out in the air fryer.

Dry potatoes- Shake off excess water, and arrange potato wedges on a clean kitchen towel. Blot with a second towel to remove extra moisture from the surface of the potato.

Toss in oil and spices- Toss the potato wedges in the oil to coat, then in the paprika, onion powder, garlic powder and salt. Keep mixing until they are evenly coated.

Pre-heat

Pre-heat- Heat the air fryer to 400°F for 5 minutes.

Cook

Cook- Heat your air fryer to 400°F and allow it to preheat for at least 5 minutes. Arrange the potato wedges cut side down in the air fryer and cook for 7 minutes. Flip the wedges so that the other cut side is down and cook for an additional 3-5 minutes (depends on the air fryer &amp; size of potatoes).Potatoes are ready when edges are crispy and insides are soft- break open a taste tester and (carefully!) taste.

These simple air fryer potato wedges are a healthy alternative to French fries. Made with Yukon Gold Potatoes, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, salt and pepper these air fryer potato wedges come out crispy on the outside, and soft on the inside.

Yukon Gold Potatoes

olive oil (optional)

tsp Italian Seasoning

tsp salt

tsp pepper

Wash and clean potatoes. Cut potatoes into wedges by slicing into quarters.

Place in medium sized bowl. Sprinkle with herbs, salt, pepper, garlic, and onion powder. Optional: Pour 1 tablespoon of olive oil over the potatoes. Using your hands toss the potatoes together to mix the herbs and spices.

Spread wedges evenly inside the air fryer. Don&#039;t over crowd. If you have a small air fryer you&#039;ll need to cook in batches.

Bake in air fryer at 400 F for 15 minutes, tossing halfway through the cooking process.

In a large bowl, combine the potatoes and olive oil dressing. Toss well until evenly coated.

Arrange potatoes in a single layer on the air fryer rack and roast in the air fryer at 400 F for about 10 minutes. Toss the potatoes and cook for another 10 to 12 minutes.

Remove from the air fryer and garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
