Preheat the oven to 325°F and grease and flour a 10 to 12-cup Bundt pan.

Use an electric mixer to combine the cake mix, vegetable oil, pineapple juice, and eggs in a large bowl. &nbsp;Beat about 2 minutes. &nbsp;Pour the batter into the prepared pan.

Bake for 30 to 35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean and the cake is just starting to pull away from the sides. &nbsp;Allow the cake to start to cool in the pan while you make the glaze.

In a small sauce pan, combine the powdered sugar, pineapple juice, and butter.  Cook over medium-low heat until the butter has melted, stirring frequently. &nbsp;

Use a skewer or toothpick to poke holes in the cake.  Pour the warm glaze over the cake while it is still in the cake pan.  It's going to seem like a lot of glaze, but just keep pouring.  Allow to cool for 15 to 20 more minutes, or until the cake is cool and most of the glaze has been absorbed, then invert the cake onto a serving platter.

pkg. (2-layer size) devil's food cake mix

pkg. (3.9 oz.) JELL-O Chocolate Fudge Flavor Instant Pudding

BAKER'S Bittersweet Chocolate, melted

pkg. (8 oz.) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened

JET-PUFFED Marshmallow Creme

tub (8 oz.) COOL WHIP Whipped Topping, thawed

Prepare cake batter as directed on package except reduce the water to 3/4 cup. Add dry pudding mix and melted chocolate; mix well. Drop 2 Tbsp. batter, 2 inches apart, into 32 mounds on baking sheets.

Bake 14 to 16 min. or until toothpick inserted in centers comes out almost clean. Cool on baking sheets 3 min. Remove to wire racks; cool completely.

Beat cream cheese and marshmallow creme in large bowl with mixer until blended. Gently stir in COOL WHIP.

Place bottom sides of 2 cookies together for each whoopie pie, spreading about 2 Tbsp. COOL WHIP mixture between cookies.

Yellow cake mix (I used Betty Crocker Yellow Super Moist)

apple cider (NOT apple juice)

water

apple sauce (we used cinnamon apple sauce, not chunky)

eggs (room temperature)

¼ tsp cinnamon (more if you like it really cinnamony!)

brown sugar

vanilla

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

In a large mixing bowl, beat the dry cake mix, apple cider, apple sauce, water, and eggs. Add in the cinnnamon (¼ tsp,) brown sugar and vanilla to the cake mix batter.  (See &quot;recipe options&quot; in notes)

Pour mix into a well greased &amp; floured bundt pan (we used Baker&#039;s Joy. This has flour in it to make sure it doesn&#039;t stick.)

Place bundt pan on center rack and bake for 40-45 minutes. Test with a toothpick by sticking into the middle of the cake, if it comes out clean it is ready.  Remove from heat and allow to cool on a wire rack for 20 minutes.

While the cake is cooking, prepare apple cider glaze. Add powdered sugar and 1/4 cup apple cider to a small bowl and whisk to desired consistency

In a separate bowl. Mix cinnamon with sugar.

Once the cake has cooled, brush the entire surface with melted butter. Rub cinnamon sugar mixture until evenly coated.

Serve with apple cider glaze dip (or drizzle glaze on top of the cake) and enjoy!

(18.25 – ounce) box cake mix

Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.

In a large bowl mix together cake mix, eggs, and oil until smooth. Alternately you can do this step in the bowl of your stand mixer with the paddle attachment, mixing ingredients on low until combined.

Mix in desired add-ins until evenly incorporated.

Using a medium (2- tablespoon) cookie scoop portion the dough onto the prepared cookie sheet 2- inches apart. Bake for 9-10 minutes, or until lightly golden at the edges.

Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 3-4 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

A light and airy layer cake with a creamy filling tucked in between!

orange zest

orange juice (pulp free)

Combine

Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Stir until well mixed.

Cut in shortening using a fork, a pastry cutter, or your fingers. Store in an airtight container for 10-12 weeks.

For Homemade Cake Mix

Combine Homemade Cake Mix and milk. Whisk until well combined.

Add eggs and lemon extract. Stir until well combined.

Pour

Pour into two greased, 8-inch cake pans or one greased 9x13 pan. Bake at 375 for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the middle of the cake comes out clean.  Let cool completely and then frost with Orange Blossom Frosting.

For Sunny Yellow Cake

Cream together butter and powdered sugar. Add zest and orange juice. Mix until smooth.

Made this with a few tweaks after reading comments. I nixed the pineapple juice and used 1c of water. Also I used enough pineapple halves for each dip in my Bundt pan with 1 cherry between each pineapple slice half. I’m so impressed with my finished product!

This cake is so good! I doubled up in the pineapple and cherries to make it extra special for my husband’s birthday. I took someone else’s advice and put the pan in the fridge for awhile before I poured the batter in, kept the slices from falling over.

This is a great recipe.  My father-in-law used to have pineapple upside down cake as a child and so I made it for him for Father's Day.  He loved it.  Easy recipe, with good flavor.

Easy to make!  Next time I would add more pineapple slices and cherries

I've found the best way to make this cake is to add around half the cake batter then add your pineapple slices. The slices stand up better that way.

With any bundt cake, generously grease the pan with butter then lightly sprinkle with sugar.  During the baking process, the sugar will melt that  allows the cooled cake to release from the pan without the cake being torn apart.

Omg! The best cake. We had to go to bed to keep from eating a second serving.

It's a great cake. I tweak it with using all pineapple juice in place of water in mix, butter for the oil (tastes more like a scratch cake) and use drained pineapple tidbits...bigger than crushed and stays in place. You can use the pineapple rings successfully in the bundt pan also. I use glazed pecans, sometimes.
