cauliflower (about 4 to 5 cups of florets)

C unsweetened nondairy milk (almond or soy work best)

C all-purpose flour rice

garlic powder

onion powder

tsp cumin

paprika

tsp sea salt

tsp black pepper

C Frank's RedHot sauce

tbsp apple cider vinegar

mayonnaise

milk

tsp apple cider vinegar

tbsp finely chopped fresh dill

tbsp finely chopped parsley

tbsp finely chopped chives

Line baking sheet(s)&nbsp;with parchment paper and preheat your oven to 450°F.

Wash and cut cauliflower head into bite sized pieces/florets.

Mix all the ingredients (minus the vegan butter and hot sauce, this is added separately!) into a mixing bowl.

The batter shouldn't be so thick that it doesn't drip, but also not so thin that it doesn't coat or stick to the cauliflower.&nbsp;If you're using rice flour, you may need to add a little more liquid to get the batter the right consistency. It tends to be slightly thicker.

Dip each floret into the mixture and coat evenly. Tap off the excess a couple of times on the side of the bowl.

Lay florets in an even layer on the parchment lined baking sheet without over crowding. The parchment paper or a silpat mat is essential in preventing the batter from coming off throughout baking! I've tried oiling the baking sheets and they tend to stick. You need parchment paper!

Bake for 25 minutes until golden brown, flipping the florets over half way through to get all sides golden brown and crispy. If you go to flip the cauliflower and the batter is coming off, you need to bake longer on that side!

While the cauliflower is baking, get your ranch dip and wing sauce ready. For the hot wing sauce, melt vegan butter in a small saucepan on low heat and mix in hot sauce. Remove from the heat just as it starts to melt. Stir together and set aside.

If you're making salt and vinegar wings, melt the vegan butter and remove from the heat to stir in apple cider vinegar and water. You will sprinkle sea salt directly on the cauliflower wings after they've been coated with this sauce.

Once the cauliflower is done its first bake in the batter, remove them from the oven and put all the baked florets into a mixing bowl with the wing sauce. Toss to coat evenly, or you can do this in smaller batches.&nbsp;Then spread all the florets coated in wing sauce out onto the same baking sheet. Bake in the oven for another 25 minutes,&nbsp;flipping the florets over half way through. Again, if you go to slip the pieces and the batter is coming off, bake for longer. Oven times and temperature vary from oven to oven!&nbsp;Also, gluten-free rice flour may vary bake time and everyone's oven is different. Watch the florets at both stages and adjust bake time accordingly!

To make the ranch dip, whisk together all the ingredients until smooth and fold in the freshly chopped herbs. If you use a regular vegan mayonnaise without garlic in it already, then you might also want to add 1 teaspoon of garlic powder to the ranch dip.

Alternatively (and this is how I prepare the ranch), you can blend together vegan mayonnaise, nondairy milk, apple cider vinegar, onion powder, garlic powder, sea salt and ground black pepper in a blender. Pour the dip into a jar or serving bowl and stir in the fresh herbs.&nbsp;Refrigerate before serving.

I put the dry ingredients in a gallon size ziploc bag, added the cauliflower and shook it up. Then added the milk. It coated very well. I sprayed the parchment paper with cooking spray.

They crisped well. After 10 min in the oven I rotated the cauliflower with tongs. They cooked for a total of 18 minutes.

Spicy Korean Style Cauliflower Wings

Preheat oven to 450 F (232 C) and line one large or two small baking sheets with parchment paper or a silicone baking sheet (like this one). Use more baking sheets as needed.

Add cauliflower to a large mixing bowl and toss with oil to coat. Then arrange on baking sheet(s) and roast for 10 minutes.

In the meantime, prepare sauce. To the same mixing bowl from earlier, add gochujang sauce, sesame oil (or water), coconut aminos, maple syrup, sea salt, and chili garlic sauce. Whisk to combine. Then taste and adjust flavor as needed. Add more chili garlic sauce for spice, coconut aminos for depth of flavor (“umami”), maple syrup for sweetness, or salt for saltiness.

Remove cauliflower from oven and increase heat to 500 degrees F (260 C). Add a few “wings” at a time to the sauce. Toss to coat generously, tap off excess, and then place back on baking sheet.

Coat all wings. Then return to oven and bake for 10-13 minutes more or until sizzling, golden brown on the edges, and tender (but not mushy).

While baking, prepare any additional serving elements, such as grated carrots, lettuce cups, or fresh garlic&nbsp;optional.

Serve immediately. Best when fresh. The wings can be refrigerated up to 3 days, or frozen (either at the glazed stage or the glazed and baked stage) up to 1 month and then reheated on the stovetop or in a 350-degree F (176 C) oven until warmed through.

Roasted in a sauce of gochujang, soy sauce and honey, these Korean Cauliflower Wings come out perfectly crisp and caramelized, with just a touch of heat and sweetness.

Korean Cauliflower Wings Recipe

cauliflower ((about 3 cups))

sesame seeds ((for garnish))

Preheat the oven to 450F degrees.

Place the cauliflower in a large bowl and coat with the melted coconut oil.

Spread on a parchment paper lined baking sheet and roast for 10 minutes.

While the cauliflower is roasting, combine the remaining ingredients in a large bowl and mix until a uniform sauce is formed.

Remove the cauliflower from the oven and add the the bowl. Mix well to fully coat the cauliflower with the sauce. You may need to wait a couple minutes for the cauliflower to cool before tossing.

Place cauliflower back on the baking sheet and roast for another 15 minutes, until crisp and caramelized.

Garnish with sesame seeds and serve hot.

Korean Cauliflower Wings

These vegan cauliflower hot wings are the perfect comfort food. They're so tangy, spicy, and incredibly delicious! It's almost a bit creepy how close they are to the real thing!

Cauliflower Hot Wings with Vegan Aioli

all-purpose flour ((or chickpea flour

unsweetened almond or soy milk

paprika powder

panko breadcrumbs ((omit for a gluten-free version))

spicy BBQ sauce

sriracha sauce (optional)

Heat the oven to 350 °F.

Carefully cut the cauliflower into bite-sized florets.

In a large bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, the plant-based milk, the water, the garlic power, the paprika powder, the salt, and the black pepper.&nbsp; Stir until well combined. For a gluten-free version substitute the all-purpose flour with chickpea flour (also omit the water if using chickpea flour).&nbsp;

Dip the florets into the batter, so they’re completely coated.

Roll them in the panko breadcrumbs. Omit this step for a gluten-free version. However, they’re way crispier with the panko breadcrumb coating.

&nbsp;Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and lay the cauliflower florets on the baking sheet. Don’t put them on top of each other. Bake for 25 minutes at 350 °F.

Transfer the cooked cauliflower wings to a bowl.&nbsp;Combine the BBQ&nbsp; sauce with a teaspoon sriracha sauce and pour it over the baked cauliflower wings. Evenly coat them from all sides by stirring them a few times.

Put the coated hot wings back on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.&nbsp;Bake again for 20 minutes at 350 °F.

Serve immediately and sprinkle with the green onions and serve with vegan aioli or vegan ranch sauce. Enjoy!

Preheat oven to 450°F/230° C.

Prepare a baking sheet by lining it with a silicone baking sheet or greased foil.

Using a knife, remove florets from the cauliflower (aka cut off the leaves and don&#039;t use the most of the stems. You can leave a little piece on at the ends to hold on to). Chop the cauliflower into smaller pieces to resemble the size of the wings.

In a separate bowl, whisk the flour, cornstarch, vegan milk, sea salt, ground black pepper and garlic powder in a bowl to make the batter. If the batter is too thick, feel free to thin it out with some more milk and vice versa. In a separate bowl, place the breadcrumbs. Line it up beside the batter bowl.

Toss the cauliflower in the batter mixture (you can add them all at once), using a spatula or spoon to coat them all. Transfer them to the breadcrumbs (you can do this in two or three batches) to coat completely, then place onto the baking sheet, giving each wing enough space. Repeat until all of the wings are coated.

Bake for 22 minutes. Please ensure your oven is completely preheated and hot.

While baking, prepare the ingredients for the sauce by heating &amp; whisking together. If you’re using store-bought bbq sauce, you may want to sightly thin it out with some water. Heat it up in a pot on the stove, or a large bowl in your microwave until warm.

Remove from oven. Toss the wings in the sauce (I like to use a spatula to move them around to get properly coated) then using tongs or a spoon, remove and place back on the baking sheet OR brush the bbq sauce onto each wings. Bake for another 5 minutes for the sauce to soak into the wings.

Remove from oven and, and garnish with scallions! Eat immediately - enjoy!

Super Easy One-Bowl Baked Vegan Cauliflower Wings

Preheat the oven the 425 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a large sheet pan with a piece of parchment paper. Set aside.

In a wide, shallow, large bowl, whisk together the flour, seasonings and spices, and almond milk until completely smooth.

Add the cauliflower pieces into the batter and toss to coat, making sure each piece of cauliflower is well coated.

Sprinkle the panko bread crumbs over the battered cauliflower and quickly toss to evenly coat them.

Generously spray the prepared baking sheet with your cooking oil spray.

Evenly lay across the battered cauliflower onto the sheet pan. Spray the tops of the battered cauliflower with cooking oil spray.

Bake the cauliflower on the middle oven rack for 15 minutes. Gently flip the cauliflower over, spray the tops with more cooking oil spray, and bake them for another 15 minutes.

Allow the cauliflower to cool for about 3 minutes, then place them into a large mixing bowl. (Allowing them to rest for a couple of minutes will prevent them from going soft less quickly.) Pour the BBQ sauce, and Frank&#039;s Red Hot Sauce if using, and toss the cauliflower until they are evenly coated.

To start, chop and then wash the head of cauliflower. I like to use a fruit scrub to make sure I get rid of any pesticides or bugs that are lingering.

Then, dry the cauliflower and place into a large mixing bowl. Start by pouring buffalo sauce of choice over the cauliflower wings and coat them really well. Like REALLY well. Ideally, you don't want to see any white from the cauliflower. Set aside.

In a separate medium bowl, combine almond flour and spices. Mix really well, then pour over cauliflower. Again, toss the cauliflower in the large bowl until each piece is well coated with the almond flour mixture.

Place the wings into the air fryer in a single layer. Do not over crowd the wings as this will result in a soggy wing.

Fry at 350F for 20 minutes. Remove from the fryer and serve with ranch or blue cheese.
