A super easy, super fresh, super delicious salsa. You'll never need another salsa recipe again! This has been my go-to recipe for years, it's definitely a family&nbsp;favorite. We make it almost every week. It's a staple recipe.

Homemade Salsa

lbs ripe Roma tomatoes ((about 5 - 6))

(14.5 oz) can petite diced tomatoes*

green onions,** (ends trimmed, chopped into thirds)

onion

jalapeno pepper,***

cilantro

garlic, (roughly chopped)

lime juice

tsp chili powder

tsp cumin

sugar

Salt and pepper

Combine all ingredients in a food processor and pulse in 1 second bursts until all ingredients are finely chopped.

Serve with tortilla chips. Store in refrigerator up to 1 week.

Make a cut around the outer edge of the pineapple fruit and make cuts across the middle too. Use a metal spoon to loosen and scoop out the pineapple chunks. Pour the extra juice out of the pineapple bowl so that it is empty.

Avocado Salsa is a close cousin to guacamole; the avocados are left largely intact for a hearty dip. This recipe can be prepped in just 5 minutes.

Avocado Salsa

avocado (diced)

roma tomatoes (seeds scooped out, diced (1 heaping cup / 175 grams))

red onion (finely diced (45 grams))

cilantro (finely chopped (12 grams))

jalapeno pepper (seeds removed and finely diced (1 Tablespoon,

Tablespoons lime juice (fresh-squeezed is best!)

olive oil

garlic powder

black pepper

Combine avocado, tomato, onion, cilantro, and jalapeno. Stir well to combine (but be gentle to not mash your avocado, unless you like it that way!).

In a small, separate bowl, whisk together lime juice, olive oil, sugar, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Pour over avocado mixture and toss gently until completely combined

Keep covered and refrigerated until ready to use. For best taste, chill at least 1 hour but serve within 24 hours of preparing.

Restaurant Style Salsa

onion ((white, brown or yellow))

/ 14 oz canned crushed tomato (, best quality)

oz / 120 grams canned diced green chiles ((Note 1))

(packed) cilantro/coriander (, roughly chopped)

tbsp+ lime juice

garlic (, minced)

tsp sugar

tsp salt

Place onion and jalapeno in the food processor first, then add remaining ingredients (start with 1/2 tbsp lime juice).

Blitz to desired consistency - I like mine pretty smooth because you get better flavour out of the onion etc.

Taste test with corn chip for salt and lime. Adjust if necessary.

Refrigerate 1 hour before serving with corn chips, or other dippers (see in post for suggestions).

I made this tonight but added garbanzo beans instead of corn. Garlic powder, an Anaheim pepper, two jalapenos (one with seeds) some Italian dressing, salt, and the rest of the recipe. It turned out great 👍

Made this as a Super Bowl snack for my husband, who’s on a vegan diet for health reasons. The only hot sauce I found in the fridge was Tabasco Scorpion so I might’ve overdone the heat a bit. He loved it though.

This is definitely "delish." I have made this tasty recipe too many times to count, and it's always very enjoyable and healthy at the same time!

I make one similar to this but I dice an
avocado or two in it.  Use green onion instead of red.  Salt and pepper and garlic to Taste and a splash of red wine vinegar.  The avocado is a must add!

And practically required to make this once a week!

I make one very similar -- That's the marvel of this recipe, you don't like jalapeno, you leave it out.  This is very much a custom recipe.  I like at least 6 different types of beans, mild chilis, sweet corn and shoepeg corn  as well as green peppers and other ingredients.  I use oil and vinegar along with a favorite Italian dressing.  I add so much in this salad that I have to pull out my largest metal mixing bowl !  There is ALWAYS enough to send home with guests.

Pico de Gallo Recipe (Easy & Authentic)

Once you have prepared all the ingredients, add them to a bowl and thoroughly mix together.

If you can wait 15 minutes to let all the flavors meld together, that&#039;s best. But if you can&#039;t wait to dig in, I completely understand. Serve with tortilla chips and enjoy!

PICO DE GALLO | How to Make Authentic Mexican Salsa Recipe

This Copycat Chipotle Spicy Salsa is a must for all Salsa lovers. If you love Salsa with a serious kick, then this salsa recipe is for you.

Copycat Chipotle Spicy Salsa

Tomatillos

Cloves

Tbsp New Mexico Red Chilies (ground)

Tsp Ground Cumin

Tsp Lime Zest

Tbsp Fresh Lime Juice

Tabasco Sauce

Salt and Pepper (to taste)

Tortilla chips (for serving)

Preheat the oven to broil and set the oven rack to approximately 6 inches from the broiler. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.

Place the tomatillos and crushed garlic on the baking sheet and place it in the oven. Broil until the tomatillos are charred, about 12 minutes, flipping halfway through. Peel the garlic.

In a food processor, combine the tomatillos, garlic, ground red chilies, cumin, lime zest and juice, 1 teaspoon salt, and 1/4 teaspoon pepper. Process until the mixture is smooth.

Season to taste with Tabasco. I suggest starting with 1 teaspoon. Add 1 or 2 teaspoons of extra ground red chilies if you would like it to a bit spicier. Add salt and ground black pepper to taste.

Serve with tortilla chips or as a topping for your tacos or your breakfast eggs.

Perfect Garden Fresh Salsa

onion, diced

jalapeno pepper, seeds removed,

poblano pepper, seeds removed,

Rinse and dry the tomatoes. Slice the ends off and cut in half.

Squeeze the tomato in your hands to remove juice and seeds.

Pulse 4-6 times until the tomatoes reach a thick and chunky consistency.

Put all remaining ingredients in to the food processor with the tomatoes.

Pulse 3-5 times until well combined, but still chunky.

Eat right away or store in the fridge for up to 5 days.

Really good! I've tried and tried to make salsa never with any success. When you said to seed it I thought why not peel it as well! So I dumped all my various heirlooms that I hadn't eaten yet into boiling water for 30 seconds or so and peeled and seeded them. I also used what peppers I had on hand: a mira pepper (like a small sweeter bell) a banana pepper, and a hot purple pepper. made a mild/medium spiciness. I agree with others, double the batch! I might leave out the sugar next time to see how it tastes.

Awesome recipe! I did kind of "make it my own" though -- I added double the garlic, 1/2 tsp celery salt, 1/2 tsp chili powder, 1/2 tsp black pepper and a cup of tomato sauce, plus I replaced the poblano with an Anaheim chile.

Leave salsa covered and refrigerated for a couple of hours before you are ready to serve. This will bring all the flavors together.
